Chuwi's French address is smoke and mirrors.
Chuwi claim to have a base here in France - they give an address on their website & say it's near Toulouse and they give some opening hours. The address is 200km from Toulouse in a very unlikely looking village called Mercues. A look on streetview finds a rural residential street and reveals either just a closed up, unkempt house, maybe acting as a registered address for tons of companies, or it doesn't exist. Hard to tell, as the house has no number, but the house before it does (no 307). I personally don't trust companies that try to create the illusion of a legit. physical presence but only have a legal presence at an uninhabited address...maybe. This does seem consistent with other reviews here about zero communication and zero after sales service. Steer clear, I think.
