I would give this company 0 stars if I could. Ive worked as a full time nanny for a decade now, and I have a strong account with many 5 star ratings. I have no problem with the families on care.com, I love them, however the app itself is a frustrating, near useless money grab with no sort of customer support. Ive been fighting with them over a slurry of app issues including but not limited to billing issues, inability to access active chats (through glitches), inability to update personal information for background checks, and others. Every time Ive been met with a wall. I was told that my chats were working fine, and that it was a saftey issue to have the ability to update my licence for backround checks (I moved states). They ran the background check on a licence that is no longer active and didnt even mark that down in the file the family purchased. They have an unfortunate monopoly on the market for families in my price range. The worst part of my day is attempting to use their atrocious app or communicate with their underpaid and undertrained customer service staff, some of whom are trying their best but all of whom are set up for failure and unable to assist with the most basic of issues as part of a systematic merry go round. I have never in my life had as much fustration with a company as I do this one, and months later absolutely nothing of value has been resolved.
