Fixing a problem with my Growatt Solar AC Inverter
Had a solar system installed by another company including a Growatt AC Inverter and battery. I wanted to start charging the battery from the mains overnight on my electricity provider's cheap rate. Asked Growatt through their app how to configure the system to do that. They responded very quickly, set it remotely but also sent me instructions. It worked but I received an error message when the battery was full. Again responded quickly and connected me to a WhatsApp chat with a technician who tried to update the firmware remotely. That failed so they sent a USB stick in the post. That also failed so they replaced the AC Inverter under the warranty. Now seems to be working fine. All done very quickly, responsively and helpfully.
