Honest 2 year experience with the A7 Pro
The phone is now barely usable, to the point where I had to change my ROM because the phone kept lagging, overheating and freezing. This phone just can't run STOCK android 10 smoothly. It just can't let's be honest. The description says that it has 4GB of ram but it feels like 1GB, I went to check the background activity and 800+mb were just spent on the OS alone then all the basic activities and a few background apps open, what's left is a little more than 1GB. Almost 70% of the RAM usage is spent on the idle state. The camera app UI is very bad and outdated, the camera quality is horrible; but I shouldn't complain this phone cost less than 100€, NFC not available, No updates, No security Updates. The phone has a Type-C port and "long-lasting battery" description, but my little brother Samsung A10 last longer and charges faster with a Micro-USB port. The worst part of it all is the processor MEDIATEK CPUs are the cheapest and most unreliable option, this phone processing speed is insanely slow it lags & throttles every 2 minutes, I doubt it's even "octa-core" as it's stated in the description (it's probably dual-core) also the processing speed description is 2.0Ghz but it feels like 1.0Ghz Max. Instagram, Snapchat, Tik Tok performance are unusable it lags, and please let's not talk about gaming. The only positive trait about the phone is the built quality in glass and metal and the case that comes with it. I don't get why all those reviews say 5 stars, there is something wrong here; it's either you all have never seen and used a good phone or you are paid for the reviews... The Bottom line is this phone is shameful to show around and use alone I'm switching to Xioami!
