Delivery delays
Delivery delays, consistently inaccurate delivery-time estimates, and the poor quality of food that arrives cold and soggy due to those delays overwhelmingly outweigh any convenience this app provides. To make matters worse, Postmates routinely allows drivers to handle two or even three deliveries at the same time, resulting in longer wait times and a significantly worse customer experience. They used to allow customers to adjust prepaid tips based on customers' experiences and discretion. But it appears they have removed that option and customers have no say anymore. After becoming fed up with the chronic mismanaged delivery issues that come with premium charges, I deleted my Postmates account.
