Oy, where do I start?
1) I found it impossible to find interesting titles--the site is not geared to connect a person with titles he/she might like. 2) It is expensive. You not only pay a monthly fee, but then you pay per title. There is some complex system of earning credits, but who wants to take time to figure that out. 3) The customer service chat says it's a person but sounds like an AI bot. It's my view that AI should disclose itself so a customer knows what they are interacting with. Use the library or buy books--Thrift Books and Half Price Books are terrific for second hand books, and so far they aren't owned by Amazon. Great services and far cheaper than Audible.
