Cleverfiles saved me from reseller confusion
I bought a lifetime license for Disk Drill Pro in 2019 via a reseller (StackCommerce). As life happens, I periodically replace my computer(s) (old machine being upgraded, or machine needs to be sent to Apple for repairs under warranty, where Apple normally ends up wiping the hard drive, etc.). I get the device back, try to activate Disk Drill Pro - but after a few activations, Disk Drill Pro started refusing to activate. Given I did not buy the license directly from Cleverfiles, I could not use their self-service "Reset Activations" function, because the reseller (StackCommerce) needed to give me information I needed for the self-service website, but they failed to provide this information. Fortunately, reaching out to Cleverfiles support, and after explaining the situation, one of their representatives (Svitlana S) was very helpful, friendly, and professional, and explained that I can contact their support email in these cases and they can manually reset the activations for me. Problem solved! Next time I need licenses from them, I will go to them directly. Awesome customer service!
