Microsoft makes a solid operating system, but the strict hardware requirements for Windows 11 are deeply disappointing. Flagging perfectly fast, capable PCs as "unsupported" simply because they lack TPM 2.0 or an 8th-Gen CPU pushes functional electronics toward landfill waste and forces unnecessary upgrades. To make matters worse, the aggressive upgrade pop-ups, forced online accounts, and ads throughout the UI make the system feel less user-focused. Microsoft needs to give users official, supported paths to keep their existing PCs updated safely, rather than leaving loyal customers relying on registry hacks or third-party bypass tools.
