2nd attempt, still the worst food site I’ve used
I have now tried to order from Hungry Root 2 times because the options seem to be what I am looking for. The first time, I was never allowed to make changes to my order even though delivery was weeks away, and all of the items did not match my food profile, cancellation was a pain and I cancelled before receiving my box. I recently tried to give it a go again, this time I was able to replace some of the items that I didn’t like, I matched the items with the “coins/credits” as to keep everything even. 1. Never received confirmation of my initial order. 2. Never received confirmation of the changes made. 3. Was billed a second time with no communication that I later found out was because I changed some of the items even though they matched my credits and did not go over in cost. The website is a mess and you have no access to your orders until AFTER they arrive. There is no communication or trace of your orders until AFTER delivery and no breakdown, the invoice is just one fee with no itemization. I have used many food delivery services and this one is by the worst just based on interface alone. I’ve now cancelled my subscription for the 2nd time and will not be trying again.
