Enjoyed the variety and having everything all in one place to prepare a meal! has made it quite the weeks worth of meals without any food waste! We did ask for low cholesterol, low sodium and vegan (our initial foray into getting away from saturated meat fats). Cheese and cheese products. On the next shipment ramen noodle dish coming is high in sodium...who knew the noodles and not the seasoning is higher in sodium! The quality of the food has been wonderful!

I’m hoping to see much better quality with the second shipment. If not, I’ll cancel. The first one didn’t save my last edits but that was addressed quickly and I appreciate that. However, the next day after delivery I went to eat the salad and it it so SLIMEY… it was one of the individual salads. Honestly though the two bags of spinach are a bit slimey and almost past edible too. The empanadas are delicious and I’m looking forward to cooking the creamy chicken bacon dish. I will update after my second order. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

First week unclear planning process
Hard to figure out portions, plans, recipes vs groceries, how To swap or cancel the first week. I ended up with way too much salmon dishes. Eat by dates would be helpful to know what to make first. And double portions of everything. Not sure the questionnaire algorithm worked for one person

Very positive experience
The Use By dates were really helpful in planning out which recipes to try first. I appreciated the simplicity of the recipes and liked how the info fit on one page. The ingredients arrived well packaged and fresh. The instructions were easy to follow, and the meals lasted the full week, so no need to go in-store grocery shopping. Very positive experience. My only critique is that I wish the app would clearly show my order Total in dollars for my next delivery.

I was a 10+yr customer of Blue Apron and they've really gone downhill. I've just started Hungryroot--only 1 delivery--but it reminds me of Blue Apron when it started. he food tastes clean and fresh. I am looking forward to trying more recipes. It's a great concept.
