Plane cancelled
Plane cancelled. Sat in Newark Airport for 81/2 hrs. before officially cancelled. all hotel rooms were booked up. Our daughter finally found us one in Jersey City, which we were responsible to pay for. We got out of Newark airport at our own expense on allegiant the next morning. Never fly united again. They had no one around to help. it cost my husband and I around $500 or more extra. Cab fares to the hotel coffees in the airport an additional $311 to fly allegiant because unit was not going to board us until 545 the next evening.
