Bought the Garvee 7000 BTU portable AC to cool a 3x4m room - it simply doesn’t work. Ran it on high, set to 16 degrees, for 30 minutes straight and the room barely dropped 5 degrees, then climbed straight back up within 10 minutes of switching off. Customer support has been a nightmare - constant delay tactics, shifting goalposts on what “proof” they need (temperature checks, videos, outlet readings), and when I finally met their own benchmark for a return, they tried to offer me £15 to keep a faulty £200 unit instead of a refund. Weeks of back and forth for something that should’ve been a simple faulty item return. Avoid unless you enjoy fighting for basic consumer rights.
