3 months - NO LICENSE PLATE YET
We financed an RV through Trident Funding and closed on December 26, 2025. As of March 25, we still do not have our license plate. What should have been a straightforward registration process turned into a nearly three-month delay due to multiple avoidable issues. We later learned that key documents were not sent when requested (including Power of Attorney and lien paperwork), and the file was even submitted to the State of Florida missing a required signature, which caused it to be sent back and restarted. Even after the plate was finally issued, we were told it would be overnighted, and that has also been delayed. The result is that we have been unable to legally use the RV we’ve been paying for since December. A temporary tag was never offered or even mentioned during this process, which could have at least allowed us to use the vehicle while these issues were being resolved. To their credit, the team has been responsive at times, but the number of errors and the length of the delay are difficult to overlook. At this point, we are simply hoping for delivery of the plate and a fair resolution to account for the extended loss of use.
