May be a Great Company, but they have scammers
I was contacted by an ACE Cash Express Representative for an installment loan that I applied for online. As we were going through the verification process, the representative said he was recording the conversation. He stated his name was Jason Smith. He described your company in detail, down to the fact that you are not a broker company. He explained the terms of the loan. Flags started going off because I have never had finance charges ONLY be $1500. When he said there would be a deposit drop in my account for verification purposes, I understood. But then he said I would have to Zelle him the money back. Normal account verification monies would stay pending long enough for the verification process, then they would disappear. I asked if I could speak to Christy Brown, who also called me. He said she was his supervisor but worked in a different building. Lastly, he asked me for my USERID to access the initiation of the deposit. I told him that I needed to call my bank and that I would call him directly back. While my husband called our bank, I called your company. I spoke to Alex. When I asked for his employer ID or his full name, he said that it was not company policy to provide that information.
