It All Worked Out in the End
Well, it wasn't great, but the people were nice. They are the reason for the score. There was a problem with communication between the teams that could have been a lot better, including better communication with Sarah at Onity. Because of this lack of communication, especially with the bank, my Closing was held up 2 days. This delay caused me to literally be homeless in South Carolina with my son's. Fortunately, I called around and was able to find a motel for those 2 days/nights, and thanks to Sarah and her boss at Onity, they pushed the Underwriters to correct a mistake that was made until it was finally corrected in the 11th hour. This mistake could have cost me my mortgage. It was an extremely stressful situation that could have been avoided.
