Do not dropship with CJ - they cannot fulfil orders
If you’re starting out dropshipping, or are about to build a business around the CJ products shown on their platform, DON’T! CJ is unable to fulfil orders within the timeframe promised of 3-5 days. You’ll get lucky on one or two orders, but lack of inventory and suggestions by them that you accept alternatives, happens ALL THE TIME! It’s not a viable way to run a business. They simply cannot fulfil inventory and orders, and do not stock a lot of the items on their site. They are essentially a middleman who takes your order and then tries to procure it. I spent over $1000 customising packaging which is now useless. I’m closing my business because of CJ. They keep thousands of items displayed even though items have been discontinue or out of stock. These show as having hundreds of thousands of items, only to find there are none. The platform does not update stock quantities so this will be a constant issues. Learn from my costly and extremely time intensive mistake and find an alternative supplier.
