Account Mix-ups, Failed Top-ups
Initially I suffered a series of multiple failed attempts to get my Nigerian moogold account verified. Eventually, I got verified using a secondary international phone number, but was asked to submit my ID after purchasing my gift card. I submitted all that was required and was told to expect a feedback in 12 hours. No reply has come yet few days later. Later, I learned from a friend that I could now verify locally using my regular phone number so I created another account, got verified and successfully purchased two Moogold gift cards. However, when I tried to redeem, I got an error message saying "Invalid Code or Redeemed". I was surprised since I have never shared the card details with anyone, neither ever logged in the account to any other device. It was later I recalled that earlier yesterday morning, after logging in to the newly verified account and clicking on my dashboard, it showed me that I was logged in as a different user and gave a prompt to confirm if I wanted log out of the unknown user's account. I logged out, logged in using my credentials again, clicked on my dashboard and saw a different user's account name and email again. This cycle repeated a number of times and I confirmed from other moogold users that they had similar issues. Now here's the major problem, for all the unknown users I got logged in to their accounts because of the account mix-up on Moogold's website, their Licence keys were unprotected by moogold. No further authentication was required to view the keys. I'm guessing it's this flaw that allowed other dishonest users opportunity to copy the keys on the vaults of annonimously logged in users and redeem these keys on their own accounts. Thus I must say I am quite displeased with the poor security of license keys amidst a re-occurence of these login errors. I kindly request that urgent attention be given to the account mix-up issues before more people loose their money to unknown users. I can provide both of my emails here to moogold on request, as well as any additional proofs needed while still unhappily awaiting results from my card verification which has delayed more than the slated time. I also kindly recommend that Moogold enables some measures of protection (e.g additional email verification code or other 2FA authentication) before users can view Moogold vaults to prevent future access by annonimously logged in users. Also a lasting solution should be provided to this mix-up issues as soon as possible. Would have given a 1-star rating by the way because of my dissatisfaction with the services I have received on Moogold so far as well as the excessive wait time and disconnection during chats (cleared messages and re-queuing for another hour or more before getting responses from a supposed "live-chat") during attempts to get in touch with Moogold's support team; however, I must commend Moogold's efforts to enable easy verification on local phone numbers so I'll leave a 2-star rating instead, pending on whether or not the issues are satisfactorily addressed.
