The opposite of customer-focused
Buying things off the back of a truck feels less scammy and repulsive than from Sharge. You buy a ridiculously overpriced powerbank, targeted at "geeks", marketed very obviously as transparent and DIY, invoking a feeling of high repairaibility. Fast forward 30 months, the product randomly breaks. You contact their "lifetime support", with the receipt attached and ask for help, who tell you to contact the retailer, who obviously won't be much help outside warranty. I'll spare you the back and forth, the result is that they: - Offer no repairs - Offer no spare parts, citing the product being "discontinued" - which it clearly isn't - as the reason. (Like that's a good reason anyway) - HAGGLE on a discount for buying the same shitty product! They offered 5% first, seeing if I was dumb enough to take the bait, and after telling them "screw you" raised it to a whopping 8%! Worst company I've dealt with in a while, super misleading marketing, awful business practices, awful non-support with sustainability and customer happiness obviously at the bottom of their priorities. Do NOT buy their stuff, it's highly overpriced, they offer 0 support and are super shady.
