I bought a brand new Shimano SLX 151X XG. The reel was delivered defective. I call Tackle Direct and they tell me the the reel is under warranty. I call Shimano and they say I should send the reel back to Tackle Diret to receive a new non defective reel. It will cost me $12 to ship the reel to SC and another $40.00 for warranty work. Never again Tackle Direct. I’ve been buying Shimano reels for over 35 years. This is the first problem I’ve ever had with a Shimano Reel. Do not buy from Tackle Direct. Custom service is the worst I’ve ever seen. $129.00 pus tax for the reel another $50 to have the reel fixed NEVER AGAIN WILL I BUY ANYTHING FROM TACKLE DIRECT.
