Will never use Expedia again
We used Expedia to book flights and hotel in Tblisi, Georgia. On arrival at 10:30pm, the hotel said there was no reservation. We called Expedia and were told that the booking was still very much live on the system. They called the hotel and I witnessed the conversation. The hotel had canceled our reservation because they were overbooked. Expedia were less than useless in helping us find alternative accomodation. After 2 hours of intense stress, we booked ourselves into the Novotel for 3 nights - we had planned to stay 9 nights, but could not afford 9 nights of Novotel prices. The holiday was ruined and we had to change our flights at more cost to ourselves to get home before being even more out of pocket. Expedia have not compensated us fairly. We have used Expedia before, many times actually, but will never use them again.
