Very poor customer service after buying.
Initially my experience was really good, from the exam to buying the glasses. However, eight months later I was out of the country and dropped my glasses breaking the arms and part of the frame. When I called Asda opticians Isle of Dogs London I was told the prescription could not be emailed to me. I informed the young woman I was out if the country and needed it so I could buy new frames and have new lenses made. She said, 'Can someone come in and pick up the prescription for you?' Clearly she was not listening to me. Eventually she said, 'OK, I'll try and email it to you.' I asked her to include the pupil distance too. I was told, 'Sorry, that was part of the dispensing process, we can't do that!' So now I am having to pay for a new eye test in the USA as well as new frames. I am totally disgusted with asda opticians and when I think about it the quality of the glasses are very poor. I still have at home my boots opticians frames which are 4 years old and are in perfect working order.
