BEWARE OF RETURN CHANGES & FINAL SALES! I have been a fan of thredup for years because of the lines they carry and flexible return processes. Recently they started allowing selling of shoes from stores or 3rd parties instead of just members. As soon as a Clark boot ad popped onto my email I automatically went direct to purchase because Clark shoes fit me! A brand new pair arrived in a new box from a store or 3rd party.for $65!? The front zipper boot did not fit my high instep foot. When I went online to thredup to return it, the system would not allow me to proceed because they said it was a "final sale". I had to go back to find the email, which did not mention final sale. I went online to the item and it was there in small print. I reached out to their return support team (you cannot.talk to anyone live, it is all online) after their asking for photos and then a video, they said they would not accept a return credit to my account because it was a 3rd party policy. Sale by a shoe store is all new, thredup could have decided to accept a return, sell them themselves and given me credit. I am very disappointed and what I used to think as the Nordstroms of thrift has become a cheap other. Bye thredup!
