Not Free, Didn't Work, Refuse to Refund
Essentially, they made me pay for a free product that didn't work, and then denied my refund request, despite their "30-day money-back guarantee." I tried to use their free recovery tool to get files I had accidentally deleted from my hard drive. In order to actually view and recover the files, I had to purchase the pro version. Then, the files recovered couldn't even be opened. When I contacted their support, they said it's because I have an SSD on my computer. However, their website clearly states, "Restore deleted files from Recycle Bin, HDD, SSD, USB, SD card, etc." They denied my request for a refund, saying it was impossible and therefore not their fault. I understand if it's not possible to do it, it was a long shot, but their advertising is super misleading, both surrounding the functionality of the product and the "money-back guarantee." I'm not really a tech person, and their website led me to believe it IS possible.
