Hagerty Scam, BEWARE
After the successful bidder, but not reaching the undisclosed reserve price, Hagerty staff reached out to negotiate a deal. Hagerty suggested a price $3500 higher than my high bid of $555.00, obviously they hadn't spoke the Seller. After repeated calls and emails Hagerty was unwilling or unable to negotiate a deal. Even though the Seller was a 503 charity Hagerty was unwilling to reduce there Buyer's commission of 7.5% This will the last time using Hagerty Marketplace. I suggest everyone else take notice of Hagerty's actions, not to mention the disclosure of my personal email and contact information. Beware of Hagerty Business Development Department.
