When I purchased the M4 MacMini
When I purchased the M4 MacMini, I was immediately hampered by the lack of USB-A and B ports as so many external devices I owned use those ports. And though the M4 had double the storage capacity of my older M1, it was still insufficient for my primary task of video editing. The Acasis Mac mini M4 Dock & Stand has solved all those problems. I now have the USB-B ports for my keyboard and external RAID, I moved a 4 TB SSD from an external enclosure to the built-in one in the Dock, freeing one of the Mini's Thunderbolt ports; I can now use a spare HDMI monitor I had by using the HDMI port on the Dock & Stand, and last but not least I can turn the computer on without lifting it up to get to the power button! My desk is cleaner and better organized, I have an extended desktop display for video editing, and I now have all the storage I need without a rat’s nest of external drives and cables and adapters. The best purchase I have made in a long time! I’d also like to commend the customer service who contacted me because when I made my original order I had mistakenly ordered the unit with an AU plug, and they noted I was in the US and would need a different plug. When I got the unit I wasn’t sure my mistake had been corrected so I sent a picture of the unit description on the unopened box to Olivia on the Acasis Team and received assurance that I did get the correct product. Great service!
