I’ve read some of the negative reviews about PHD and it sounds like a lot of overreaction about the service and product. I have purchased two hats from PHD a Montecristi Super Fino Classic Fedora and a Havana and on both occasions received excellent service. I really suggest that you watch the videos that are posted on PHD’s Website. The workmanship and amount of time to produce a hat is amazing. If you just want a run of the mill cheap copy of a Panama Fedora then go to a street vendor in Cozumel. That’s what I originally did and it just spiked my interest in getting an original. PHD has always kept me informed of any delays and always updated me with photos of the progress of my hats. The first one was a custom Fedora that I gave specific dimensions for and the order took some time to fulfill and it was well worth the wait. The Havana was an “in stock” hat, but it’s not 100% completely finished when you purchase it and it takes time to accomplish that. PHD has always been accessible for questions and updates. My experience with this company has always been positive and trouble free. PS: The photo near my name is my mother who recently passed away in February. She liked my hats also
