Summer Debacle 2023
Summer 2023: My family contracted Go Configure to build a playset for my kids. In early June a technician came out to build on a Tuesday. He left early. He did not come back on Wednesday. On Thursday he came out and left due to a storm. The storm lasted an hour and he didn't come back. On Friday he didn't come back. I politely contacted him and the company. After a week of calls from me to Go Configure we a got a new date and new technician (a full month after the original date). When the new technician came out in July the hardware for the playset was missing. The original tech has taken the hardware! I'm now in a situation to figure out what to do. I have a 1/4 finished, water damaged playset with no hardware. I'm awaiting a call from Go Configure, but odds are I'll be calling them. This has been a very frustrating experience. Any company that relies on freelancers can face this situation - it's hard to vete employees remotely from NY in various states of the US. That said, I'm most disappointed in the lack of urgency from Go Configure to get my playset built. Pete P.
