What people say

I needed service on my Boflex trainer

I needed service on my Boflex trainer, and was given the name of Go Configure. I contacted them and they scheduled a service call for $175.00. The service provider arrived at the appointed time and offered to swap out the entire mechanical unit for another functioning one. He told me that I would only have to pay him $100 in cash, and I would owe no more money to Go Configure. After he swapped out the unit, I nonetheless got a bill from Go Configure for over $400.00. While I believe that the service provided was beneficial, the "bait and switch" was executed in bad faith. I wrote an email to Horizon about two weeks ago and have not received a reply nor an acknowledgement of my concern. I wrote again today and told Horizon that I am protected by my state's Elder Abuse laws regarding financial exploitation.

Ghosted

Go Configure was the company Home Depot contracted to assemble a bunk bed we purchased. Go Configure was supposed to contact us within 2 days to set up a date (within 2-3 days) for the assembly. After 2 weeks and 8 phone calls to both Home Depot and Go Configure, the boxes are still sitting at our front door. No contact from them, ever. Home Depot was apologetic and refunded us the install cost plus more. If I could leave a zero rating, I would. Do not use this company.

Free assembly by these folks seems to mean do it yourself

Every time appoint is scheduled rhey have excuse to cancel, we are waiting on 4th or 4th time to be scheduled, I lost count. Blamed weather, sick relative, stuck in traffic, and who knows what else. Rhis was to be free assembly which it seems free equals do it yourself. I won't five them a one but won't let me leave information. They truly do not care and customer service sucks. I know how it works if you can't get me off phone you ask the person next to you to be manager lol. Then some dude comes on says he is over the state of ohio. Lol he sucks just like the ones over the USA. Each time told they will escalate I remind them it has been the 4 or 5 times. Poor child has been waiting a month and 1/2 for swingset. So disappointed!!!!!!!!

I would avoid having this company build…

I would avoid having this company build anything for you. The communication is terrible and it took over two years to finally complete our gazebo project and its still wrong. Company refuses to make it right, so we are going to be contacting legal services as we have lost alot of money based on their negligence. You would be better off finding a contractor willing to build for you.

I was originally told 1 to 2 weeks to…

I was originally told 1 to 2 weeks to assembly. The called and said that they would be here in 5 days. Day of they called and rescheduled for 2 weeks later in the morning. The day before they called and said they would have to reschedule for lunchtime. Well I'm still waiting. No calls...

Is there a zero button to rate these…

Is there a zero button to rate these people. I paid for them to bring the packages upstairs$40. Extra. But when technician came. He said he needs another person and he will re schedule the appointment. It's been 2 days, I am calling them every day to get an appointment. Each time they say, they will call me or email me. But nothing back. Home depot needs to find new assembler because I will retune their furniture.

Bowflex + go configure = an absolute…

Bowflex + go configure = an absolute nightmare for customer service repairs. Trust me when I say they prioritize their schedules over the customers only. I've dealt with this company twice and it's the worst experience ever. They will never honor the schedule you create, they just don't care. I needed to get my Bowflex bike repaired because the screen kept malfunctioning so they scheduled me to have a repair person from go configure stop by, of course as you'd imagine....NO ONE SHOWED OR COMMUNICATED WITH ME ABOUT NOT SHOWING THE SCHEDULED DATE AGREED UPON..hate Bowflex and go configure shouldnt even be acknowledged to have a contract with anyone.

Terrible company. Never again.

I bought a Daybed from Home Depot and paid for the installation. I got contacted by Go Configure for an appointment on the 17th. I had my old bed taken apart and had the room cleared for them as requested in their email to me. The morning of the 17th, I got a text saying "a technician will be in your area Saturday the 21st". No call to let me know anything. I then called the Go Configure phone number and the rep told me that the technician had a family emergency and they had to reschedule me. She also told me that they tried to call me but my phone didn't ring and the answering machine never came on. That's when I looked this company up online. I called home depot to cancel the installation and request a refund. Now I know. When I need something installed, find a reputable company and hire them myself. Never again.

Bowflex nightmare

We have a new treadmill that we bought in August2025. Within in 2 months the motor burnt up so we contacted the manufacture warranty department. So now 2 months later go configure has canceled twice and just didn’t show up yesterday after waiting 4 hours l called them and the manager stated she disjnt know where the repair person was and had not heard from him. I was told I would be contracted and rescheduled. No thank you ! Horrible horrible customer service… Bowflex do better. We will not be purchasing another product by Bowflex. Also if anyone needs a motor that no one can put into my treadmill let me know! Guess we will wait until the manufacture warranty expires and use our extended warranty…

Will Complain to Authorities

I’m shocked that such bad service is even allowed to exist. I’ll be filing complaints with every consumer protection agency in California, including the California AG, to keep them accountable. I experienced the same level of service as everyone else here. They never showed up for their appointment, and now I keep calling with no success. No one can get a hold of a technician to set another appointment.

Just hire a local contractor to put…

Just hire a local contractor to put your item together. Dont know why these stores and companies use these crappy install companies who just hire any random person in an area. I’m a quality installer and was reached out to do work by one of these install companies to do the work for them, luckily I’m good at what I do but many of their employees are not trustworthy and like all the reviews will just not show up. I don’t blame them though because the customer is paying for example 800$ for install and the person who actually gets assigned the job is only going to get 350$ of that money so there is very little incentive for a highly qualified person to do this work. Many jobs require more than one person to assemble and takes all day to complete so nobody qualified is going to work for 175$ a day and have to use their own vehicle, tools and insurance costs. There has to be a better way for qualified professionals to get in as an installer with these bigger companies and do quality work for them instead of these hack jobs that rip off their 1099 employees and don’t pay them even half of the install cost.

GoConfigure knows nothing about assembly

If I could give zero stars, I would. Hired GoConfigure to disassemble, move and reassamble my treadmill as my moving company essentially said that they didn't want to be responsible for moving it as exercise equipment isn't their specialty. Well, I would've been better off not paying extra for GoConfigure's "speciality" in successfully breaking my treadmill. The GoConfigure guy showed up a week after my move to disassemble, take my treadmill from my old house to my new house, and reassemble... in a pickup truck with no straps?? Thankfully we own a pickup truck and have straps (but also, we could've just done that ourselves?). The guy had no idea what type of equipment he was moving when he showed up - mentioned he thought it was a trampoline?! When he got it to my new house, he actually broke one of the washer and bolts due to over tightening, but since it was just one of many, it went unnoticed for a while until an absurd squeaking noice came from it. I had a tech come out to identify the issue, and he confirmed that this would've only been done by an installer (in this case, the reinstall/setup of my treadmill by GoConfigure). GoConfigure is refusing to reimburse me for the cost of the move as they claim that it's after the 30 day money back window. Completely horrible experience from start to finish, could not recommend a more terrible speciality assembly service.

4/1- We purchased a cedar swing set and…

4/1- We purchased a cedar swing set and paid for assembly. 4/3- Go Configure called and scheduled assembly for 4/14, as the set was scheduled for delivery on 4/11. 4/11- It was delivered. 4/11-GO Configure called and rescheduled assembly for 5/5. They called again and rescheduled for 5/6. 5/5 am-They confirmed the assembly appointment for 5/6. 5/6- called to reschedule for 5/21. I declined the reschedule. They said the technician didn’t have an assistant for today, so we will have to go to END of the list for rescheduling. I declined. 5/6- technician showed up to assemble. A piece was broken and had to be replaced. 5/16- replacement piece received. 5/27- technician completed assembly. The technician was very nice. The scheduler was not very easy to work with. It took 57 days from purchase to assembly. Grandkids were very disappointed ☹️

No-show - no call - poor communication

No-show, no call until the end of the day (after it was too late to make other arrangements). Technician tied up our whole day and was unapologetic about rescheduling and lack of status update(s) Rebuffed when we asked to speak to a supervisor and multiple calls were required to get a refund after cancelling the service. Based on the experience and their poor customer service, I can only assume we are fortunate they did not perform any actual work.

I could never have imagined to have…

I could never have imagined to have such a bad experience when I paid for swingset assembly. They failed to show up to 7 separate assembly appointments that were all “confirmed” ahead of time. Customer service has no actual power and the only answer they give is “you will have to wait until the technician can fit you in the schedule”. Whatever they tell you is your appointment date and time; it will not happen. I am 4 weeks past original assembly date and still dealing with this worthless company.
