I wish I could give zero stars
I wish I could give zero stars. Dealing with this company is so, so, so bad and beyond frustrating.

I wish I could give zero stars. Dealing with this company is so, so, so bad and beyond frustrating.
I just got a call from Muhammad from Go Configure saying they have to reschedule to put up our gazebo because the technician no longer works for the company. Unfortunately I purchased the gazebo from Sam's club before reseaching this company THEY recommend. I saw the reviews with other customers being told the same thing.
My first mistake was to buy from Home Depot. The delivery was horrible. then the installation instructions was to have the piece of furniture already in the unit. I had to remove everything from the box with help from my neighbors and bring everything upstairs. Than, today, they called to tell me that the installer is in the hospital and there is no future day given because he is the only one in the company that can build the console. I'm asking for a refund. Horrible experience.
I purchased a play set with installation from Backyard Discovery. Their installer is Go Configure. The shipment arrived but we did not hear from Go Configure. We called them and were told the installer would contact us. A couple of days later when we still hadn’t heard from the installer we called again, same result. After about the third or fourth call they said they would call the installer and let us know, next day, no contact from anyone. Another call, same result. Ultimately we were told they couldn’t get in contact with the installer and we needed to find another one. It has taken several days to find someone willing to install the play set. Finally found one that is charging almost double the price, the installation is more than the play set. This has been an expensive and miserable experience.
Go configure scheduled an appointment to put my kids bunk bed together on March 13th. They sent the text confirmation on March 5th and I accepted. On March 11th they sent a text to reschedule my appointment. I am not in agreement with this schedule change and they are giving me the run around on why this happened. Meanwhile I have gotten rid of my kids bed and they are sleeping on the floor. I told them this would only be for 2 nights and now it may be longer due to this company changing the date of service. I am paying them over $200 for this and I am very upset. I am currently waiting on an answer now hopefully I can get my original service date back.
I order a tool shed from Sam's Club. Go Configure were the recommended company (by Sam's Club) to assembly the shed. Prior to the purchase I called 3 different times to get a quote. Each time I called I was only quoted the assembly and were told to call once I have a delivery date. I now have a delivery date. I was told a mileage fee will be added due to the driver being more than 50 miles from my home. The driver fee is 300 dollars on top of the of 399 assembly fee. Had a mileage fee been mentioned when I called to get a quote I would have never ordered the Shed. The shed weighs 436 lbs, this is something I can't just pick up and return to the store. Very disappointed with the poor communication and lack of care and concern from the supervisor at Go Configure. Sam's needs to drop them and hire another company to assemble their products.
Really bad experience. I have paid ~$600 for GoConfigure to order the wrong parts for my broken treadmill, and to order a technician to come out twice to my address to examine parts delivered to my address and check the treadmill, twice telling me that GoConfigure had ordered the wrong parts. This happened over the course of more than two months. Now they are telling me that I would owe $1313.18 for additional parts and repair service. This is nearly twice the current cost of the treadmill that I would have liked to repair. Very bad business.
If you can give less than one star I would. Scheduled appointment. No one called or showed up. Called them, just a delayed. no follow-up. Called Bow Flex , they were going to get it rescheduled. no one called back. Called Go Configure on response. Called Bow Flex, no help. Don't use Go Configure or Bow Flex. Stuck with equipment I can't use.
I received my daughter's playground on December 12th. My original assembly date was scheduled 1/11/2024. (Keep in mind that I called the company the same day that I scheduled my initial appointment. I let them know to send a contractor that could get on base no problem. They informed me that my request would not be a problem. Day of installation the contractor arrives and did not bring his documents to get on base. Then the contractor and company made up an excuse about not being able to come out to do installation due to cold weather. I hadn't heard anything so then I decided to text the contractor for an update. He then proceeds to tell me that he STILL does not have his documentations and ask me to call and see what else can be done. I called and was informed that I would need to be in the vehicle with them since I have my DOD card, which I didn't mind doing. I guess he was not interested in doing that, so he never responded to me. So again, I texted him today asking for a plan and now he responds that he cant make it to my 2/10 appointment. At this point I am sure that this company scams and steals peoples money. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!
called multiple times to schedule after paying,. each time someone gives a different answer. Horrible customer service. Still waiting for CS for over 10 days to schedule. will review again later
I don’t usually leave reviews, but after consoling 2 really upset kids two days in a row due to this company’s and their technicians’ incompetence I don’t want another family (or children) to have the same experience. First appointment: after being required to confirm the appointment by email, text, and verbally over the phone the day before for a 7am - 11am arrival window the technician never showed up and called at 12:26pm stating they were an hour and a half away at another installation and weren’t going to be able to make it. They asked if they could reschedule to the following day between 7am and 11am. I confirmed and accepted the reschedule. Second appointment: the technician called at 8am the day of the rescheduled appointment asking if he could come the following weekend when it was going to be in the 60’s and 70’s rather than that day because it was too cold. It was 53 and sunny. I respectfully said, “no”, and that we expected him to come today like he committed to. He said he would get his people together and show up. 35 minutes later I received a text rescheduling the installation to 5 days later (no call or communication, just an automated text moving the appointment again). I called customer service. Asked for a refund and to cancel everything. Initially, customer service was very responsive and helpful saying they would call their district manager and try to get another technician out same day to perform the installation. They said they would call me back within 20 minutes. No correspondence within 2 hours. I called back, got a different representative, no update from the first conversation, so I asked for a refund and to cancel, which they said they would do. Don’t use this company or their technicians. I should have read the reviews prior to working with them. Shame on me. I found a local group for the assembly and installation and they were cheaper and could come out sooner than the 3rd rescheduled appointment this company tried to do.
My Schwinn recumbent bike needed service here in Atlanta. Fortunately, I had purchased an extended service contract from Schwinn along with the bike. After diagnosing the problem by phone with Schwinn customer support, the parts were shipped and a service tech scheduled. The service technician (Roy) arrived on the day promised and was able to replace the servo motor within 30 minutes. Bike now works as it should! I understand after reading the many reviews here that my experience is atypical, but it really depends upon the individual tech. I was lucky to have Roy!
Let me start by saying I've never reviewed a product. Good or bad, I usually just move on. This company has done such a terrible job-Backyard discovery needs to find a new company to install their products. From the moment I purchased this product eight weeks ago, I have been encountered the worst customer service I have ever experienced, and this company needs to be shut down. How many negative reviews does it take before the company decides to do some reflection, and attempt to fix the inherent wrongs? I purchased the Canyon Creek playground for my daughters in late November. From the reviews stating it took two men two days to put together and an average of 16-18 hours, I decided to shell out the money for assembly, figuring the technician could do in hours what it would take me days to figure out. After three weeks went by, I finally get an appointment scheduled for mid-January (6 weeks since I purchased the product). I know the holidays tend to push everything back, and I therefore made myself available on that day and made alternate plans for my daughters and dog so as to stay out of the technician's way. I was given a window from 9 am-1 pm, and received a confirmation call and text the day before. At 12:40, I receive a call stating the technician was having trouble with his vehicle and would not be coming out. They stated they would contact me with a new date. You call with 20 minutes left to the service window stating they are not coming??? They contact me the next day giving me a date 2 weeks away. Not only were my children so looking forward to having this assembled after 8 weeks, but now I have to make myself available yet again, but this technician seems to be the most unreliable employee ever, and so why would I believe he will come out on that date either? I decided to ask for a refund, and will find my own handyman to put this thing together. For $700, I expect someone reliable and solid workmanship. If this is how the technician treats the appointment, I don't want him anywhere near the playground my children will be playing on. I had another issue with this company about two weeks after the playground parts were dropped off. I was given a date in late December for delivery, and then received a call about two weeks prior to that stating they would be dropping off the playground boxes. Thankfully, I was off of work that day, and quickly made room in the garage for the cumbersome boxes. The driver delivered 4 heavy boxes and a slide and I tipped him appropriately, as well as helped him carry them into the garage. As mentioned, I received a call about two weeks later stating they were at my house to pick up two boxes that were mistakenly dropped off as I was apparently only supposed to receive two boxes. I was at work, and asked them to return a week later to pick up the boxes. A) I had tipped the driver for carrying four boxes into my garage, not just two; B) Don't just show up at my house without notice and expect me to be available when you made the mistake. They returned the following week, sending a lone female driver, and it seemed as though they expected me to help carry the boxes back to the truck that weren't even mine! I will not be breaking my back for YOUR mistake, and straight up told them that. This company has so many negative reviews, and no employee takes responsibility or accountability for anything. They give you endless apologies, but don't take action to resolve anything. Do yourself a favor, and find your own individuals to put this together. Do not use this company, and continue to allow this abhorrent customer service to continue. I am giving one star because it is impossible to give negative stars.
I usually read reviews but I didn't this time and I paid the price. I was scheduled a delivery date and no one called or showed up. When I called I was told that the notes said someone had spoken to me. I should have stopped right there but... The tech came the next day and was physically incapable of moving the 140 lb unit downstairs and was not able to use the stairs. I ended up doing it myself. After three hours he said that there was a problem and he would have to order parts. I ordered the parts because I knew it would take him 2 days. Rescheduling forget it. After numerous phone calls and promises I finally called the manufacturer and cancelled my set up service. I find it ironic that a logistics company cannot solve basic problems. FYI several of the people I spoke to at goconfigure promised to call me back and help me and never did anything.
Wish I had read the reviews beforehand. Now I am writing another bad one. As of yesterday, we canceled ourselves because we were tired of waiting. It's been over 6 weeks and had a scheduled appt yesterday. Nobody showed and customer service number didn't know why. Offered to re-schedule and we declined. My husband will do it himself and be sure it is done right. Hopefully, refund will appear in 2 days!!
If I could give a 0 review that would be more accurate. This is the worst company ever. For your own sanity get a local repair person to do the work. Do not use go configure. Techs never show up, cancel appts because they forgot their tools, on and on. This company should go out of business and it’s a shame that a large company like Nautilus/Bowflex still uses them.
Yet another horrible review for this awful company. It has been seven weeks since I first contacted Bowflex's warranty provider Warrantech (who a Bowflex rep told me is responsible for choosing to contract only with Go Configure) for a repair for my Bowflex C6 spin bike. Without getting into all the details, it took Go Configure 3 weeks to schedule an appointment for my repair -- which was not available for another 2 weeks. The morning of the repair appointment (now Week 5), Go Configure called and said the tech was canceling and could not give me a new date. Over the past 2 weeks, on multiple calls to Go Configure, they have told me they have spoken and left messages with the tech who is "very good" and wants to get the appointment scheduled right away. No such luck and I'm still waiting. I should note that throughout this process I have spoken to Bowflex, Warrantech and Go Configure multiple times. Most of the phone reps have been polite and understanding, but I keep getting promises and "escalations" -- and nothing gets done. Plus Go Configure also has an annoying process of contacting me multiple times via email, text and phone to verify my contact info and availability on specific dates, only to never schedule appointments on the dates I have confirmed with them. Why do Nautilus/Bowflex and all the other companies listed in these reviews (Sam's Club, Peloton, etc.) continue to work with these clowns at Go Configure?
Horrible customer service and refusal to help customers. They never contacted me to say that they were on their way and never contacted me once they arrived at the location. They claimed “their system” said they did, but there is no record in my phone at all. No missed call, received call, or voicemail from the number they stated called. They screwed up the entire timeline due to the or failure to communicate accurate instructions, and worst of all, they refused to offer any refund for their total failure.
Impossible to get ahold of technician. Took a month to get someone out to me. They cancelled the day of our appointment without telling me - I had to call to ask where they were. Rescheduling was a nightmare. Awful customer service. STILL HAVE NOT HAD MY PLAYSET ASSEMBLED!!!
After numerous cancelled appointments over the span of 3.5 months and yet the tech. not showing up again today, Goconfigure calls US and tells us they are closing this job and we need to get a refund from Nautilus. What a crap company. Shame on the large companies like Nautilus, Amazon, Wayfair, that actually use them... or try to.
