The reason they are terrible at keeping appointments is because they schedule your appointment without knowing who will do it. They think that anyone can assemble any item that is sold. They only pay out about 15% of your payment to the installer. The installer is told when to go to your house, expected to deliver, assemble, dispose of packaging, dress appropriately, own, insure, license and maintain there own vehicle, own there own tools & cell phone, have there own health insurance and liability insurance. Then installers are expected to pay fees for using an ap that they require. There is also a fee for collecting a check from them. This is why people dont show up on time to your house!
Worse Service I have ever received from any company in USA. if any body needs Details my Order # C67282470.
Since march 27th The very first day of the Gazebo Install , Bad Install and I called the same day. Its August 11th and NOTHING HAVE BEEN DONE. I want my Money back And they Just giving up excuses. Really bad people. Don’t do anything with them.
Horrendous. One of my customers purchased their 20x12 pergola, they're most popular. The cost to have it built was great, now I know why. It has been over THREE months and she still cannot get satisfaction to have her pergola fixed. Their technician drove in from out of town and determined the two roof panels were put in reversed, which explains why they do not connect and there is a 2 inch gap between the roof sections. Their tech came two weeks ago, but no follow up. Maybe it is because my customer is elderly and they figure what can she do. Well, I am going to speak up for her!
First scheduled date was 7/19 7a-11a, and they called at 10 to say the tech was ill. They rescheduled two days later on the 21st 7a-11a. I called on the 20th to confirm. Called on the 21st at 10:30 to check status, and was told the tech was running behind, and they would call me back when they got a time from him. Called them back at 12:30 and was told that they had left me a message at 10:30 to reschedule. They did not call me on the 21st or leave a message. They wanted to reschedule again. Canceled their service and found someone on Thumbtack cheaper and the are coming in the morning.
Were supposed to put together a wood pellet smoker purchased from Home Depot. Waited four hours at the scheduled appointment time. No show, no call, Rescheduled for nearly a month after purchase. If I had a choice I would not use this company.
Summer 2023: My family contracted Go Configure to build a playset for my kids. In early June a technician came out to build on a Tuesday. He left early. He did not come back on Wednesday. On Thursday he came out and left due to a storm. The storm lasted an hour and he didn't come back. On Friday he didn't come back. I politely contacted him and the company. After a week of calls from me to Go Configure we a got a new date and new technician (a full month after the original date). When the new technician came out in July the hardware for the playset was missing. The original tech has taken the hardware! I'm now in a situation to figure out what to do. I have a 1/4 finished, water damaged playset with no hardware. I'm awaiting a call from Go Configure, but odds are I'll be calling them. This has been a very frustrating experience. Any company that relies on freelancers can face this situation - it's hard to vete employees remotely from NY in various states of the US. That said, I'm most disappointed in the lack of urgency from Go Configure to get my playset built.

Poor customer service. Complete wast of time and effort!!!!!No idea why Sam's club uses them
I usually, do not write reviews but today it needed to be done. This is one of WORST companies i have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I recently purchased a pergola from Sam's club. I never received a assembly date. The customer service reps repeatedly told me they could not get in touch with the assembly guy. I was also told i would receive a call to scheduled a date next day. This continued form June 13 2023 until June 24 2023. I eventually, called Sam's club to return the item. I can not give my money to a company that operates in this manner. It is obvious to me they do not want, need or appreciate my business.
I bought this Gazebo about a month ago, and I must say that I finally was able to enjoy my Gazebo today. That's correct, today. I really enjoy the quality of the Gazebo, however, I am very frustrated with the third party (GoConfigure) assembly services. Initially, GoConfigure sent two staff to build it. One member of the team was very punctual, meticulous in building their portion of the project. The other members were not efficient in their techniques. The team took two days to build it. Also, I provided specific instructions on the exact placement of my Gazebo. They placed the Gazebo in another spot. One half of the rooftop seemed to be loose as well as several brackets were missing. I found a bracket in the grass. Perhaps, it was left there because they were working very late into the night. One of the legs protrude outward and was not standing straight up. The electrical box was not assembled. Screws for the anchor and other screws were missing as well. Lastly, the staff informed me that they charged extra to include the anchor in place. Although I was promised that they would return on a third day, I never heard back at all. I reached out to their project manager, Phil on several occasions. He informed me that he was very busy and would call me back but he did not. I called their dispatcher, Brittany, with KCT, contracted with GoConfigure, and she informed me that they would come to my home to fix the problem. They did not show up or call. Although I paid for assembly, the project was not completed. I am very displeased and urge anyone to not agree to get their Gazebo assembled through GoConfigure, you've been warned.
GoConfigure couldn't organize a one person meeting
I bought something from Home Depot. Instead of Home Depot personnel showing up to deliver and assemble the item - a grill - they passed it off to GoConfigure.
The item was supposed to be delivered on May 18, and I got a notice that it would not be delivered; but would be late. I told GoConfigure - my first mistake - about the delay. Then the item was delivered on the 18th. I tried to get them to come out - no dice.
On the 26th of May (Friday of Memorial Day weekend), I got a message telling me that the assembly team would show up on the 29th (Memorial Day). I sent back a response that I could not have them that day, as it was Memorial Day and I had services needing my assistance.
Someone called me late at night and said he would come the next day to assemble the material. Then the next morning he said he would be late, as the company had assigned a couple of assembling jobs ahead of me.
Then I was contacted by someone who explained that the technicians could not schedule anything. The person asked for three dates I would be available. I responded May 30, 31 and June 1. I got crickets in response. No one contacted me to schedule on any of those dates.
Next I got another call asking for three more dates, and I said Jun 6, 8 or 9. Crickets again. Then I got a call on the 8th saying they would show up between 2 and 6 p.m. on the 9th. I got messages to that effect and asking if the product was on my premises. I responded yes, and the return message was You are confirmed. That same day I got a call saying they were coming on the 8th, and I asked her to re-check that, as I had been told the 9th. She came back and said I was right, it was the 9th.
At 6:30 I send a message back saying it's 6:30, what of 2 to 6? Crickets. I waited until 8:05 and sent them a message saying they failed to show and demanding my assembly fee money back. Guess what? Crickets again.
Home depot should NEVER EVER USE GOCONFIGURE FOR THEIR PRODUCT ASSEMBLY. If you buy something from Home Depot and ask for assembly, be sure they are NOT USING GO CONFIGURE. UGH! They couldn't organize a trip out of a phone booth with the instructions written on the door.
We got a swing set that Go Configure was supposed to assemble and they said they were 4 weeks out. They never called in the window that they were supposed to show and every phone number doesn't ring, it's like they have shut down their business. They don't answer emails either. I wish I would have read these reviews before I prepaid for this assembly, now I have to work on getting my money back.
If I could give this company a zero star I would. This is the worst service I have ever had. We purchased our swing set from Sams Club and paid to the assembly... 900 dollars for assembly. It took them 7 weeks to even get me a date for for June 7 and June 8. THEY DID NOT SHOW UP! I took two days off work and now one shows. They are very rude.
I hope no one else is treated like we were. The communication is terrible. We got a call and canceled the day of our appointment which took weeks to get. We were told it would be rescheduled but we had to call again days later. We were told it woluld take another two weeks before we could be rescheduled. It took the technician 5 days to assemble. The main reason is he didn’t work a full day any of the 5 days. He did however do a great job of putting it together. His work is not questionable. His communication however suck’s along with the rest of the company.
We had a great experience with Go Configure. Given a date a couple of weeks after purchase of a pergola, Mike and another gentleman called that morning to see if they could come a little earlier that day. They arrived set up and the pergola was completed in two hours. They were pleasant, answered all of our questions and were very professional. I would definitely recommend this company for any assembly needs!
Another negative review. Ordered Playset on Wayfair and got Go Configure to install, or at least this was how it was supposed to go. After about 6 weeks, multiple phone calls, reschedules, no-shows… I am absolutely done with this company. Requested a refund for install from Wayfair for a job not done! Very disappointing. Customer is terrible.
This company is a joke. They will schedule you out 3-4 weeks. Then the day they are supposed to come they call and tell you their technician gets “sick”. This has happened before to us twice now. First event being May 5th and then they rescheduled for May 19th. Got the call this morning with the same excuse. Stay far away this company is a Joke. We will be assembling it ourselves.
I wish I could leave zero stars. I called the company before buying a swing set for our grandkids. They said they were booking 3-4 weeks out. After 1 week, I did not have an appointment scheduled. At that point, I started calling to see what was happening. The people on the phone were polite, but after a week it was clear that I was getting the runaround and no one was going to call me to schedule an installation. Even the "coordinator" avoided my calls. I finally disputed the charge with my credit card company. So disappointing.
In March I ordered a pergola from Sam’s Club with a purchase for install by Go Configure. It’s been 6 weeks and over 15 calls and still no install. I had two four-hour scheduled times on Sundays with a promise of a 30 minute call upon arrival. Each time I have had to call customer service to inquire about the no shows. No ONE from GiConfigure has ever returned my calls. Sams Club has been NO help. My next steps are calling BBB and Ohio’s Attorney General. I paid for a service and have no received it.
CoConfigure is a bad company! This is the type of company that tells…
This is the type of company that tells you what they think you want to hear. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They were unable or unwilling to follow through with any of the promises they made. We ended up having to find someone else to complete our assembly. The gazebo sat in our driveway for over 5 weeks while we waited for GoConfigure to get their act together. We were able to get our assembly money back from Sam’s club with no hassle at all. They called GoCofigure to ask why they had been unable to complete the assembly and Sam’s agreed the that their excuses were unsatisfactory.
I wish we had been more proactive in checking this company prior to signing up for assembly. Live and learn, I guess.
My advice-NEVER do business with GoConfigure.
I called to schedule assembly for a swing set in early March they said they would be out in may the called me and rescheduled because of weather now they want me to wait a mont and a week for them to come out. This company is a complete joke. I hired some one off of Taskrabbit and they got the job done for much less
This company is a total joke in every way possible. They cancel appointments due to weather and then expect you to wait another month to “ reschedule” I would never recommend this company to anyone ever!!! What a total joke. You buy something that you feel a professional should assemble.. like in our case it’s a gazebo. Bought it months ago and still isn’t assembled! Do not give this company a shot in hell to work with you because they won’t.. they took our money and basically ran.
