Over charge with out my knowledge I booked an Uber from Stansted Airport
I booked an Uber from Stansted airport to my place for my sister. When I booked the fare was £76:90 which was taken from my bank account. Then the fare got up by £22:76 which is very strange and unexpected. My bank didn't allow and then wanted me to verify the amount which is I didn't. After 4 weeks later I booked an Uber to Heathrow airport the fare was correct . After that on my recipes I did release that Uber did charge me the amount (£22.76) . I contacted customer service on my Uber app and but unfortunately Uber customers service closed my enquiry and I was not able to write any more about the over charge. Then I messaged Uber on WhatsApp I did not receive any response. I complained via email after many questions and provide the receipt and my bank charges then he said that you raised the same thing and your issue was resolved . Very unprofessional frustrating and unfair . Please advise me if anyone has the same problem with Uber . I think everything should be included when you book an Uber because maybe you do have just the amount or a bit more in the bank account and the bank should have overdraft charges therefore Uber most be honest about the fare not cheating on the customers.
