Terrible customer service for repairs
Having purchased several items for a campervan conversion I was failing to get the MTTP to charge the leisure battery from the alternator. Everything else seems ok, have power where and when Im supposed to but it doesn’t work, I have been in a long winded (2+ weeks) online only, discussion with Renogy regards testing and proving and videoing everything, each time I do so, I get fobbed off with something else to try, it has now come to the point where they are asking me to recheck the things I already sent videos for, and thy are incorrectly responding to what I have told them, their customer services are shocking, I have spent countless hours following their advice, when the issue is a faulty product. however they refuse to answer when I ask how to go about replacing it. Product is 6 months old but was not fitted immediately so effectively new, I am a qualified electrician and Chartered Mechanical Engineer so not new to these things. After this experience I will not be buying Renogy products again, the products I bought that work are good value and seem to be reasonable quality, but when they don’t work you’re in trouble if you want to repair or replace. Guarantee not worth the paper it’s written on
