I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with this merchant services provider has been extremely disappointing. I was promised transparency, fair pricing, and no hidden fees. Unfortunately, my actual experience has been the complete opposite. Before signing up, I specifically asked detailed questions about PCI fees, annual fees, equipment costs, cancellation policies, processing rates, and contract terms. I received written assurances that: • No PCI fee would be charged as long as my account remained compliant. • I would receive advance notice before any PCI-related charges. • The Poynt terminal was a one-time purchase for $150, not a rental. • No monthly equipment rental fee would apply. • There was no long-term contract. • There was no early termination fee. • Future fee changes would be communicated in advance. Despite these promises, I experienced unexpected charges, confusing fees, and a complete lack of transparency regarding what I was actually being billed for. A $99 annual fee was charged even though I had been told otherwise. Additional fees appeared that were never clearly explained during the sales process. When I tried to understand the charges, getting clear answers was extremely difficult. To make matters worse, access to transaction details and reporting was very limited, making it nearly impossible to independently verify the fees being deducted from my account. As a business owner, I should be able to clearly see and understand every charge being applied. When I decided to cancel due to these issues, the process became even more frustrating. After being told there was no long-term commitment and no early termination fee, I was faced with additional obstacles and conflicting information. The biggest issue is not even the money itself. It is the lack of transparency, inconsistent information, unexpected charges, and the amount of time and stress spent trying to get straightforward answers. Small business owners deserve honest pricing, clear communication, and full visibility into their accounts. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.
