Bad customer service
I have been using Agoda for many years now and so much that I have Platinum VIP status with them. However, you don't get to know how bad their customer service is until you face an emergency. During a recent hotel booking, I found bugs in the room. I tried to contact Agoda for help but found that it was ridiculously difficult to get in touch with them. All their phone lines were busy and their replies to my WhatsApp messages were very very slow. At the end, I was left alone in a foreign city struggling to find a new hotel. Moreover, a property I booked through Agoda has been sending me messages via their website for weeks now and there is no way I can stop it. I have finally decided to mark Agoda as spam in my inbox settings.
