An inconvenient disappointment
There's a peculiar irony in being told that, as a frequent traveller, I must use a payment method issued in whatever country I happen to find myself in. One would imagine that a company of Spotify's scale had long since mastered the rather mundane art of accepting payment from customers who occasionally cross borders. Instead, you've managed to transform a simple subscription into an administrative obstacle course. It's an inconvenience at best, and an excellent incentive for customers to explore competitors at worst.
