Invaluable

No honor, no integrity

I successfully bid on a lot that was priced over $1000, requiring an electronic funds transfer to render payment. They provided a name, routing and account number. I arranged the transfer - $20 fee to my bank (expected and reasonable). Turns out they gave me the wrong account info, so the transfer was denied and the funds returned to my account, which resulted in a $45 processing fee for the return. Informed Invaluable and they gave me the correct account info, resulting in another $20 fee to my bank to affect the transfer. When I asked Invaluable for a refund of the $65 it cost me for the failed transaction that I resulted from their giving me the incorrect account info, they started lying about the process and who would refund my money. We had several email exchanges (so I could document the process) and at one point they told me they had called my bank and my bank had told them they would refund to me any costs associated with a failed EFT. I called my bank and of course that was a complete lie - Invaluable made that up. I wrote one more time asking them to do the right thing and refund my money, and sent a separate email to their CEO, and have never heard vpback from them, so they have clearly filed my issue in the circular file. No honor, and no integrity. I’ll certainly never do business with them, and I hope no one else does either. I expect LiveAuctioneers cover almost all if not all of the auctions Invaluable does, so there is an alternative.
