Thought i was booking on hotel web site…
Thought i was booking on hotel web site for one night and booked a room costing £96.00 only to get confirmation the next day and was charged in US dollars with extra cost added US$ 77.45 RESORT FEES ?? US$ 65.79 TAX RECOVERY CHARGES ?? Total amount charged US$237.90. Have been unable to contact anyone, can't cancel as apparently the reservation is non refundable. A SCAM !!! Contacted hotel direct they said they have had an number of calls with same problem but nothing they could do as it was booked through a third party.
