AMC is a far cry from Carmike!
AMC is a far cry from what Carmike was, and in Columbus, GA we are stuck with them. Their theaters are often nasty and smelly (floors always sticky), drink machines are consistently out of product, and young employees are not skilled in proper customer service behaviors. It's obvious that owners were not interested in making improvements like changing out old squeaky seats, etc. On big movie debut weekends, they are usually understaffed and often have problems with theater temperatures, especially in the Summer. Today may be my last visit for a very long time. Makes me want to just invest in a better home system and forego the entire theater experience all together. Or just bring back more Drive-ins!
