Want a kids combo? That's $10. Oh, you want ANY other candy besides gummy worms with the combo? That's +$3. What's the point of a combo when every customizable option adds to the price substantially. I think I'll just watch movies at home.
I have been watching the Jaws movies on the AMC network and I've been trying to enjoy the movies but every commercial break they will show either a damn Domino's Pizza commercial or a damn Burger King commercial or both, I have had it enough is enough with those stupid commercials being shown every commercial break everyday. There is no damn since in and I have complained and complained and complained but not shit is being done there still showing them every commercial break everyday. If I have to get the BBB or the FCC involved I will cause I absolutely hate those damn stupid commercials and I want then stopped. I want to enjoy the content not having to mute my TV every few minutes because of those same damn stupid commercials. If that don't work then I might try taking it to court
Video projection failed in all 8 theatres: no adult manager on site to deal with the resulting chaos.
AMC Theatre, Cherry Creek, Denver, CO. Sat through 30 minutes of ads and previews; sound level far too loud, almost painful. 40 minutes into the film (The Odyssey), the video projection for all 8 theatres failed, although the soundtracks continued. Mainly teenage staff hadn't a clue what to do: more interested in serving food and drinks to punters who didn't yet realise there was a problem, than dealing with customers who knew only too well that there was! Eventually, one youth with a ring through his nose began handing out vouchers to anyone who wanted them, whether they'd bought tickets or not. A credit card refund was not an option. Utter chaos: do these theatres not employ a responsible adult in a managerial role? I shall not return to an AMC theatre, voucher or no voucher!
Yesterday, 07/31/2026, I took my 12 y/o godson to this theater (AMC-Rainbow in Las Vegas, NV), where we have gone many times before. On this occasion, in room 4 with Spider-Man's newest film, the theater was about 95% occupied. The cost: For an adult ticket, a child ticket, popcorn, Coca-Cola (2), and 2 small, low-quality gas-station pizza-style pizzas, I spent an exorbitant US $104.00. I spent the entire movie fanning myself with my baseball cap because the temperature was so high I was sweating. I thought it was only me, and when I looked around, I saw quite a few children doing exactly what I was doing to cool themselves down. My godson, the child next to me, and I had to bend our legs to avoid touching the leather seats with our legs, since we were wearing shorts. Touching the leather made us sweat. It was a very uncomfortable experience. The management knew that, a day before August, in the middle of our desert climate in Las Vegas, the indoor temperature needed to be brought down enough so the theater would stay cool and the audience could enjoy the film. Verdict: After this, I am NOT coming back to AMC; I am going to the Canery movie theater, which is much cooler in temp, with larger rooms and larger armchairs with trays (no trays in AMC room 4). For a $104.00 charge, I have to be treated accordingly. Sorry, but you'll never see me again there, nor anyone in my family.
I LIKE THE MOVIE COMPANY AND THE STUBBS REWARDS BUT DO NOT PUT ME IN QUEUE FOR SOMETHING LIKE SPIDERMAN TICKETS ETC WITHOUT ME ASKING TO BE IN THE QUEUE. ON THE APPI I HAVE NO CHOICE AND THERE IS NO OPT OUT AND CAN'T GET PAST THAT PAGE FOR THE 15 MINUTES I AM IN QUEUE AND I WANTED TO BUY TICKETS TO A DIFFERENT MOVIE. KIND OF DUMB
The AMC corporation completely ignores me. They ignore all of my emails that I sent them. They even ignore the emails about my mental disability. That is ableism. I am very frustrated and angry. They can improve by paying attention to their customers.
Went to Hadestown, a non-rated R show, and was barraged, with my children present, with sexually explicit rated R material as part of the previews. Not 1, not 2, at least 5. Do better. Pathetic.
Reclining seats are terrible in the first row - and shouldn't be
We were in Theater 12 at the Topanga Westfield with reclining chairs to see The Invite. Movie was great but we sat in the front row and the seats didn't recline enough for our necks not to take a huge hit. The screen was distorted and it was not a good viewing experience as it took a couple of hours for the soreness to go away. The least AMC could do is either discount those terrible seats, or have them recline more than the other seats so you don't have to strain your neck to watch. Everyone around me had the same experience. I've sat first row before and it wasn't this bad so I know it's the theater. And I'm paying the same as everyone. So no, I won't be back even though the movie was great. Experience, zero.
The other night I lost my earring under a seat and this really handsome, tall, strong young man, I believe his name was Grant, lifted up the seat for me and saved my day! He really is an AMC hero!!!
They bother me with questions about A-List or Stubbs membership—at the concession stand and in commercials besfore all the movies. Then when I say if you ask me about it, I won’t buy concessions, they get mad, say they are required to ask. Whether required to or not, I don’t want to buy things if they do that. I’m really tired of this.
I’ve been trying to see a movie at AMC for 2 weeks now but I cannot get on the app or their website because a message says I’ve been blocked. I’ve been going to AMC for years now but I will take my business elsewhere. I actually went to the theatre to speak to a Manager who couldn’t fix the problem. It’s a good thing I never subscribed to their recurring subscriptions. There is NO customer service. I’ve deleted my app. So long AMC.
My adult son took his 16 year old sister to the theater along with a 17 yr old friend. The theater sold tickets to all three, then would not allow the 16 year old into the movie. A rated R movie but again the 16 yr old was with her adult brother. The 17 year old was allowed in but not the 16 year old? I called the theater offering to send copy of my ID stating the 16 year old had parent consent to watch movie. The Manager on duty would not allow my 16 yr old in to the theater even after selling her a ticket. She said it would risk her job then hung up on me. I was not trying to get anything from her simply trying to give permission to allow my daughter to view a movie. After being hung up on, I called back and was greeted with a young man who was quite rude asking "What are you going to do sue me?" Then hung up again. Very disappointed with the service. I understand policy but question how can a 17yr old enter but not a 16 yr old with adult supervision? I'm pretty sure seventeen is not a legal adult? Missoula MT 6/07/26.
I was excited to use gift cards I received for AMC, however my excitement was short lived. The box office was not open and I went to the desk that was labeled Guest Services to ask where I had to go to purchase tickets, there was no one there. When I was finally able to ask someone he grunted and pointed to the end of the long concession line. Just to make sure he understood that I wanted to purchase movie tickets and not snacks I asked again and was told to go there . Of course there was only one concession attendant working but there were several kids behind the counter. Once it was our turn suddenly there were three other lines opened, huh, go figure! With all that "help" the place should have been immaculate, it was not. The place was not clean. The staff was not friendly. No customer service. Old recliners in the theatre with dirty sticky floors. The drink station was self service and needed cleaning. I used my gift cards and will never set foot in an AMC again.
Incredibly rude workers. Refused to give us a refund, the theater was trashed, costumer service was horrible and run by a bunch of teenagers who wouldnt get off their phones. Just don’t bother
The movie was great with quality graphics and sound. It’s just that the bartender was rude because she did not let me order a water and told me to go to another line (the line with snacks). There was water at her station clearly and she still was dismissive.
I've been enjoying the AMC9+co, for years. About 2 months ago I wrote a negative review regarding lobby Usher's having to stand all shift while working, it really bothered me. I am pleased to announce the Ushers have chairs again which helps me continue enjoying my experience as I always have. Thank you AMC, for recognizing a problem and taking corrective action. The Ushers have always been appropriately responsive while sitting, thank you again!
The theater is great, clean, nice seating…. 30 min of previews is ridiculous!!! Stop all the previews (waste of time) start the movies at show time. We watch previews online so there is no need for this.
Please stop!
Thank you
This review is not so much to do with an actual theater but to do with ordering their promo merchandise. By now everyone has heard and seen all the hype about the Devil Wears Prada 2 popcorn purse! It was promoted SEVERAL months before the movie release on May 1st. Of course the day of the release, those popcorn purses SOLD OUT in minutes. Ok, I was on the “Notify Me” email to do a “Pre-Order” from their website. The website even provided a time in which you could log in and purchase your presale. Ok, signed in right away and 1 minute AFTER their sign in time..SOLD OUT! Ok, you could still order. So I did. Shipping cost was insane by the way. My friend signed on about 5 mins after me to see a LARGE disclosure notice that this item would NOT ship until AUGUST 31st!! So of course she did order. Why would anyone order 5 months after the release of the movie?!! Here is where the bait and switch comes in…I received my confirmation and NOTHING stating the insane ship date, my credit card was charged ( which all online orders I’ve ever made, your CC is charged once the item has shipped) and so I’m thinking my order is on its way. NO!! I thought I would contact AMC customer support and just inquire. They more or less said TOO BAD SO SAD…your order is being shipped at the end of August!! I explained there was NO information when ordering or on my confirmation! NO ONE would order that item so many months after the movies release. And they know it!! And they want me to PAY 5 months of interest on something I DO NOT HAVE!! Their response was unhelpful, RUDE and unwilling to accommodate AT ALL!! They will NOT cancel the order and refund, nor will they reverse the charge and recharge once they actually ship the item. Needless to say I have disputed this charge with my CC. I guess AMC is doing so badly that this was a EASY way to get money. DISGUSTING!!
