Please sell ASDA

Good afternoon! I wanted to leave a negative review about ASDA Hounslow, but I see there are already so many of them and no one seems willing to make any changes. Perhaps you should just hand the location over to TESCO so there’s a decent store here? The ordering department isn't doing its job; you often have to wait weeks for items to appear on the shelves. Meanwhile, if you go to the TESCO in the neighboring area, you can always find exactly what you need.

Amazing Customer Service by Kim

I shopped at the Asda store on the Wolverhampton Road in Oldbury on th August 2026 at 13.34 , but there was no tills open, I prefer to be served by People, not to scan and shop, so I spoke to someone and they said they could open a till up for me which was great, but there a a shop attended call Kim there who had just started her shift, she was so lovely, and said she would scan them through for me on the self servicetill, which she did and was very quick which was great, so I would like to commend her for her kindness and quick thinking which saved me any further stress - Thank You Kim

Robbed by asda

Will not use asda again place a order and roughly £30 of my order was missing I then put in for a refund and my refund was rejected with email saying I can contact customer service but they won't change the decision so I lose my £30 and a massive corporation just get to keep it and the product

Zero stars regarding the aggressive selling at Pudsey Owlcoats store about charity payments and self service tills not working. Prices on-line are now different.

Zero stars regarding the aggressive selling at Pudsey Owlcoats store about charity payments and self service tills not working. Prices on-line are now different. Self service till had a charity box on it and also information the screen to pay a charity donation. Over kill when most people are skint. Self service tills wasn't working with my bag and then with a reduced item. With milk more expensive instore than on-line.

Complete waste of time

Complete waste of time. Shop regularly. Not a single penny in so called rewards since 4th April. That’s FOUR MONTHS without a penny. Total joke. Only beaten by their scan and don’t go system. Where you do all the work scanning and packing neatly only to have all your shopping turned upside down while they rescan every item. 😤

Customer service telephone department…

Customer service telephone department is a joke. The customer service assistant didn't want take any details of my order, wouldn't let me explain what was wrong and kept interrupting me. When I asked if I could speak to a manager he refused saying that he can't do that and if I need help I should go to my bank who I already told him had asked me to call Asda as they took Payment twice but it wasn't showing up as a fraudulent payment. He refused to help and wouldn't even take the order number and hung up on me. So I'm down £200 for a £100 order and Asda have been no help so far. How about fix your website from crashing or showing the something went wrong notification and this wouldn't happen and train your customer service assistants to not be dismissive and rude before anything has even been discussed.

no need to shout at each other

Whilst shopping in Bromborough storem a man with a large cage, near the top of an aisle, opposite the back of the store with cooked ham and such and another staff member who was in front of shelves. I think jars of pickles, they were having what seemed a heated argument, I heard the female loudly say "yes, and did it all last week!" or words to that effect. I passed quietly asking 'please don't shout', I'm not sure if they heard me as they seemed to be having a shouting match. It made me feel uncomfortable as both body languages and voices seemed hostile. I feel for staff arguing view and ear shot of customers is unprofessional and makes for an uncomfortable shopping experience.

£275 food shop just wasn’t delivered with no explanation

I am disabled and so are my children my Asda order (£275 worth of shopping) was due for delivery last night between 7.30 and 8.30pm I was tracking the driver online right by my house only for it not to turn up at all and I had a cancellation message this morning 12 hours after my delivery slot with absolutely no reason what so ever. Needless to say I will not be using Asda again and I will be cancelling my delivery pass!!

No STATS..

No STARS... 14 Days for a refund is an utter disgrace these days.. They keep hold of people's money to collect the interest before sending it out.. Shocking...Also any points you collect to turn into pounds you are no longer able to buy alcohol or tobacco products with vouchers..You know because the powers that be may lose money on it... Angry is an understatement ..

Asda Abbey Lane Leicester...

Asda Abbey Lane Leicester.... Selling things are are starting to rot and smelling on their bargain shelves not sure why these are not removed. Also I don't understand why with 2 hours to go things aren't significantly reduced which will be out of date by the time they are closed... I thought it would be in their interest to get it sold rather than disposed of. Staff look tired, fed up and overworked. Not their fault the store is poorly managed.

1 star

1 star! Asda please pull yourself inline with other supermarkets and take note how you need to improve staff performance in your stores. Customers are not being given any respect. A customer asking for help seems to fall on deaf ears, no one wants to help. The staff just walk away. Asda stop bringing your own company into disrepute, and either remove the frontline staff or give them training on how to conduct themselves. Any response Asda?

**ASDA Click & Collect

**ASDA Click & Collect – refund eventually received, but the complaint was not properly addressed** I recently placed a Click & Collect order with ASDA which included Branston beans that were on a special offer. The items I was expecting were substituted with different products, and I was not happy with the replacement. When I arrived to collect the order, I explained that I was unhappy with the substitution. The member of staff at Click & Collect asked his supervisor to speak to me. After I explained the situation, the supervisor took all of the items back and agreed that the transaction would be cancelled. Later, I checked my account and noticed that the transaction had **not actually been cancelled**. I contacted ASDA Customer Services and explained that I had not received the order and that all of the items had been handed back to the store. However, the customer service adviser repeatedly told me that I had already collected the items. I explained several times that this was not the case and that the complete order had been handed back to the Click & Collect staff. I was then put through to **ASDA Boldon**, where a member of the management team assured me that the transaction would be cancelled. The following day I checked again and found that the transaction still had not been cancelled. I contacted Customer Services again and was asked to confirm my address and postcode. While I was giving the adviser my postcode, I was unexpectedly transferred to another ASDA store in the south of England, with a completely different telephone menu system. I assumed this had been an error, so I contacted Customer Services again. On this occasion, the adviser finally arranged the refund and gave me confirmation that it had been processed. I have now received my money back, so I appreciate that the financial side has eventually been resolved. However, it took **several phone calls** to achieve something that should already have been dealt with when the Click & Collect supervisor agreed to cancel the transaction. What disappointed me most was that when I raised the issue with ASDA, they would not really consider the circumstances. I was told that the original operator would only have seen the information on their screen and had simply followed the information they were given. I understand that individual customer service operators can only act on the information available to them. However, that does not explain why the transaction was still showing as completed after **the entire order had been handed back to the store and a supervisor had agreed to cancel it**, nor why I had to repeatedly contact ASDA to get the matter resolved. **The refund has now been received, but I feel the way the situation was handled and the subsequent customer service were disappointing. I hope ASDA will look at how Click & Collect cancellations and complaints are handled so that other customers do not have the same experience.**

Avoid Asda !!!!

If I could have given less than 1star I would have .Terrible delivery service . Late again , they don’t even offer a discount of reimbursement of delivery charge . Why make you book a slot when they can’t facilitate it . If you have a delivery booked you may as well write off the best part of your day .Poor !!!!

ASDA Ashington 08:30 6th August

ASDA Ashington Northumberland .08:30 6th August. Went shopping only one checkout available so went to self service. 3 members of staff were chatting so waited to get through. When they finished gossiping one of them turned round and walked into my trolley. While scanning she came back up to me and started shopping that I should have said excuse me. She was the one not looking where she was going to buy talking. Surely shouting at a a customer is not a good thing to do. Customer service very poorly. She wasn't a young woman. She was a older one who should know better. :

Order 70000064190562

Order Number – 70000064190562 - I wrote to the ASDA complaints department in Leeds (South Bank), on 25th July 2026 and this is what I said. I would like to complain about my online grocery order, for a Phillips Lady Shave (£26.00), which was due to be collected on Tuesday 14th July 2026. I went into the store on Friday 17th 2026 to collect my Lady Shave and the system could not locate my order number. I clicked on the ‘help’ button, but nobody came out. I then spoke to a lady at the Kiosk as there was nobody at the customer service desk, she told me to go back to the pick-up items and call the ‘help’ button. I said I’ve already done this and nobody came. Then she called to another lady by the tills to come over, but she just ignored her. The lady at the Kiosk then started serving other customers and I was then ignored. I approached another male and asked to speak to a manager. He said he was a manager. I explained the situation. He said my order showed ‘already collected’, which was odd because this was the first time I had been in to collect my order. He explained, you have to come in on the exact day, it wasn’t like ordering from George, where you had a few days grace. I said, that was why I never received any reminders to collect it. The manager said he would contact customer services the next day, Saturday 18th July 2026, and request a refund. I said previously I purchased a couple of bras from George and ASDA struggled to refund all the monies. If this was going to be a regular thing, I would start shopping elsewhere. I heard nothing from the manager, on Saturday 18th July 2026 and nobody telephoned and my money was not refunded, as promised. On Saturday 18th July 2026, I rang the ASDA grocery call centre, where I was on the phone for about 40 minutes. He just said the manager you spoke to was not in the store today, but would sort this out on Monday 20th July 2026. The call centre agent asked what the managers name was? Has your service nose-dived that much that we now have to ask for names? I didn’t ask his name, as I believed there was some integrity that he would do what he said he would. Nobody bothered calling me on Monday 20th July 2026 and I did not get a refund. On Tuesday 21st July 2026, I again contacted your call centre, explaining all the above yet again, on another 35-minute call, but was just told the store was not picking up and there was nothing he could do. I asked for the complaint’s email address, as I was getting nowhere fast. I emailed my complaint, stating the above facts on Tuesday 21st July 2026, and the email address was to XXXX. On Friday 24th July 2026, I sent another email saying you still haven’t responded to my complaint. On Saturday 25th July 2026, I again called your call centre and explained the above. I was on the call for 50 minutes. Again, I was informed that the manager wasn’t there, however she would attempt to escalate this to a higher manager. I spent ages on the telephone with my bank raising a despite for this transaction. On 29th July 2026, I received an email of apology and a £10.00 E voucher to spend at ASDA, which expires on 27th September 2026. On 6th August 2026, I spent over £10.00 worth of products but was unable to locate any scan. The assistant said I can only use the voucher online for groceries. On 6th August 2026, I tried to order some shampoo online, totally £10.50. There was a collection cost of 50p and a charge of £4.00 because the minimum order was below £25.00. Therefore the voucher was only worth £5.50 in the end. 4 hours of complaining and a stamp that cost £1.80 to send the complaint letter, and all I was left with was something to the value of £3.70. This is an absolutely disgrace, I shall never order anything else ever again. ASDA Barnsley, one to definitely avoid.

Scam Missions

I have shopped in Asda all my life Faithful Customer and I have the APP on my phone. However owing to Asda rewards requesting that you complete missions now I have earned a mere 85p for approx £300 worth if shopping over the last month's maybe more. So here's the thing. I am too busy to play mission games and there's not an asdsa petrol station for 8 miles so 5p off fuel is not cost effective for me and probably hundreds more customers. Also how do you expect elderly customers to adhere to your games sorry I'm now going to shop in Tesco who are loyal to their club card customers and on discussing this with friends family and work colleagues all are of the same opinion pure scam so asda get your act together and get things sorted before you have no customers

Poor customer service

Popped in to the Wrexham store today for a few items. The store desperately needs a revamp, it looks tired and lacking cleanliness. Staff on the floor stacking shelves look miserable and huff if you want to get to a particular product their cage is blocking. The prices aren’t as particularly competitive as they used to be either. Worst part for me is self checkout, staff manning these areas all stand in a huddle chatting amongst themselves, blatantly ignoring customers and red illuminated lights signaling assistance is needed. Absolutely dreadful attitude, rude and passive aggressive. I would rather pay a bit more in a more customer focused store.
