We had an incredible experience with UME Travel for our trip to Japan and South Korea. From the planning stages all the way through the trip itself, everything was organized extremely well and made traveling through multiple cities feel easy and stress-free. Gary and Ivan were our main liaisons and were amazing to work with. They listened to what we wanted from the trip and put together an itinerary that gave us a great balance of sightseeing, unique experiences, food, culture, and enough flexibility to really enjoy each destination. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process, and we always felt like we had someone available if we needed help. The guides were one of the biggest highlights of the trip. In Japan, we had the pleasure of spending time with Jaycee, Megan, and Momo, and in South Korea we were guided by Ricky. Every one of them was knowledgeable, friendly, patient, and genuinely enjoyable to spend time with. What we appreciated most was that they didn’t just take us from one attraction to another. They shared their own local perspectives, explained the culture and history behind what we were seeing, introduced us to things we probably would never have experienced on our own, and made us feel much more connected to the places we were visiting. Those personal interactions made a huge difference and turned an already amazing trip into something we’ll remember for the rest of our lives.
