The prices are extremely high, and the quality no longer matches what you’re charging—especially when it comes to the so-called “fresh” fruit bowls. These fruit bowls are overpriced, low-quality, and lack real nutritional value. The fruit often tastes bland, overripe, or processed, yet the cost is close to what a child’s full meal would be for the day. That’s unacceptable for families trying to eat healthy on a budget. What’s most disappointing is that Publix built its reputation on quality and trust, but now it feels like profit is being put over people. Selling overpriced, low-nutrient food while branding it as fresh and healthy is misleading. Many customers are struggling financially and trying to make better food choices. We deserve real fruit, real nutrition, and fair pricing—not inflated costs for food that doesn’t deliver. Publix needs to do better, because loyalty is earned, not assumed.
