Consumers also pointed out severe issues regarding grocery quality, mentioning things like rotten produce, bruised fruit, and expired meat items frequently found on the shelves. Sabal palm plaza of fort Pierce produce department

Sabal palm plaza of fort Pierce. It started weeks ago .I would come in the morning to buy a yogurt parfait..I only like the strawberry plain one but none were available.I made a complaint and they started making them available as they did with all the other parfaits.weeks later specifically today They keep putting less and less yogurt in these cups I picked up one today and put it back because youre being charged $3.50 and the fruit is no longer filled at the top so now you cut the yogurt and the fruit. Flat out ridiculous!!you're ripping folks off still charging the same price for barely anything.I spoke to a manger supposively over produce yogurt regarding..and he states they go by a recipe..Which was a ridiculous answer..you keep cutting the yogurt and now the fruit youd still be hungry eating this for breakfast..you're just cheap Never knew filling a cup up yogurt with fruit and yogurt fairly for the price would be so difficult..this recipe" changes every week sick of yall nonsense get a grip!!!

This review is for the Publix Pharmacy…

This review is for the Publix Pharmacy in Edgewater Florida. After being in the hospital for over a week, I had a major surgery and the doctor prescribed me a narcotic and the MANAGER gave my wife hell about filling it. There is one great pharmacist that works there and that is Chris. He doesn't judge people because of the medication you take. He will ask perticiular questions for certain medications but always in a friendly professional manner unlike others that work there. If you continue employing people like this, your reputation will not be as good as people like Chris make it. These Pharmacist better get off their power trip because it will only backfire on Publix. I'm a senior citizen and I take all my meds like I'm supposed to.

Publix discrimates against singles and the retired

Publix is only concerned dealing with family with kids. They could care less about singles and the retired. In Farragut TN. there are two stores one is fairly new. They have big bulky carts for customers to carry their children in & small carts for their children to push around. I think that is fine, but when i requested they get a small 2 tier carts for people that don't need that many groceries they say they won't do it. At least Ingles and Kroger cares about customers that only need a small amount of groceries because they do have the smaller 2 tier carts.

They have become an overpriced Walmart

Only 2 lanes open and the self checkout lane. Ever lane was backed up. They now require you to have their app to get some of the discounts along with coupons. Always slow in a Publix’s and their service has gone way down hill. They are nothing more than an overpriced Walmart anymore.

I shopped at Publix in Jacaranda…

I shopped at Publix in Jacaranda Commons today and purchased Mayfield ice cream that had a sign in front of the product stating it was buy one get one. When I got home and viewed the receipt I was chared for both. When I looked at the BOGO list for Publix on line, in very fine print (I needed my glasses) the date that the BOGO started tomorrow August 6th. I ask why put the sign in front of the ice cream the day before? Publix has habit of doing this continuously. I will shop at Aldi or Wamart more often from now on. On another note, the date the BOGO starts is such a small print that I cannot read without my glasses even though I can read all the parts without glasses.

Not fruit but watermelon bowl

For the most part they are ok which is good because only store close. I have a problem with the asst. fruit bowls they are 95% watermelon and a couple of other fruits placed on the very top to deceive you. When you open it try hard what you get a couple pieces of other fruits and a lot of watermelon. But still charge like you are getting an equal share of the fruits. Ridiculous I’m done.

Nightmare deli a newbie (…

Publix Northgate Plaza Deland FL At the deli counter with a newbie ( which ok is not going to be QIICK) bout 45 minutes for 5 - 1/2 lb orders is RIDICULOUS! Then to have Miss quick Colleen there wizzing through 4 to 5 customers in the first 15 minutes and ignoring me! Then finally I asked if she could get the last half lb of cheese she had the nerve to tell sorry 1 deli person per customer! I’m like there’s no one else here and every time I was the only one here she never offered to get me anything else! I was with my sister and said so she should order the cheeses as another customer that would be ok? On top of all that proceeded to argue about it I was like neither one if you should be in deli!

This company is very bad to work for…

This company is very bad to work for they do not take care of their employees If you file a workman's comp and the accept the claim they immediately halfway through come up with a reason that is not legal to cancel you.... Left my grandson hanging with half of his care done and an IV hanging out of his up vascular vein.... Risk management for Publix thought that was quite funny and told him good luck with getting that removed

The pharmacy is awful

The pharmacy is awful. My prescription is for 90 pills. They always give me 30 and I pay for 90. When I call out their mistake or scam whatever it is, they say I need a new prescription. They want to argue with me for 20 minutes instead of admitting their grift and giving me what I’m owed. Sick of it. Will not go back. Alabaster Whitestone location

I went to the store 0546 cashier today…

I went to the store 0546 cashier today was Terri. My receipt number is 84320105232. You couldn’t have asked for a more unhappy person to fill this position as cashier. She never looked at you. she never said thank you she never put the groceries in the basket and I was just totally surprised because I go to another store normally And a Publix and they are also friendly and helpful and kind.

While I find the staff at Publix to be…

While I find the staff at Publix to be alway above normal for the area, and often far better, the quality of many other things are terrible. I am not sure if it is the season or that our part-time population has left, but it is noticable. Meats are nearly always on the edge of expiration. Tonight we purchased Subs and cookies, both generally considered both high quality and a bargain, they are neither. It can be hard to find soft fresh rolls. I feel like Publix is only convenient by way of proximity. I am not looking for anything by way of reembersment, I do ask that someone samples your wares in the afternoon when commuters are heading home. Is the chicken cold and stringy, do the baked goods still seem fresh? Look at the salad bar now and then. Things can't be this expensive and this sub par at the same time.

Sterling Creek you are the BEST!

Many thanks to the Sterling Creek (Oviedo, FL) Deli and Customer Service Staff for ALL of your care and concern for our family! We needed help sending food to our family in Florida because their son passed away. Mara, the Deli Manager, took such tender care of our needs and made sure to go above and beyond to help us because she knew we were calling from Savannah, GA. Alfredo, the Customer Service Manager, made sure we were able to make the purchase with no problem. Thank you so very much dear folks for helping our family in such a time of need. Your courtesy and kindness were so very much appreciated! Most Gratefully, The Swain Family

I don't know what happened to Publix…

I don't know what happened to Publix tub ice cream but the vanilla fudge swirl was a real disappointment. Very little fudge in it and the vanilla has only a watery flavor to it, no vanilla flavor. Very disappointed with this product and I used to brag about it I won't be bragging anymore nor will I buy any of the other flavors in the Publix brand or in the tub.

Publix it's not all that is cracked up…

Publix it's not all that is cracked up to be. The Publix where I live is racist it is so racist you can cut it with a knife. I was told from this point on I can no longer bring my service dogs in the store while they're in their buggy but I see white people doing it all the time and some are even in buggies they're on leashes. But since I reported them to upper management I guess they had the nerve to try to take it out on me and tell me that I can't bring my service animals in the store anymore that's fine but maybe if I were white I could because I see white people bringing their animals in the stores all the time. Your seafood department poisoned me 2024 and they have been dodging me ever since. Now I see why there's only white managers. I don't see any black managers in your store. I see six pictures of six white men. So we're going to boycott your store. Racism around Tampa is so prevalent. I heard one of your managers say that it was the black kids who broke the fountain machine that's not true. Those cups that you have in the store are too flimsy because they are recycled and when you go to put the lid on them they collapse and then the water spicket on the machine stays stuck so you can't turn it off unless you know beforehand so you can manually stop it. They don't want to fix it properly but they want to blame it on another race of people. They rather blame it on a whole race of black children. And now you have to ask one of the customer service people for a cup. I say take the machine out if you only want certain people to use it put whites only sign on it like in the Jim Crow era. And since you didn't want to pay me for hospitalizing me for food poisoning. I think I will sue for racial discrimination plus the food poisoning.

NOT ALL PUBLIX MARKETS ARE ALIKE - ONE NEEDS NEW STAFF

I'd like to offer my sincere apology to the three Publix employees at the Preserve Marketplace store (2175 Sembler Dr., Odessa) whose morning conversation I so inconsiderately interrupted by asking where the sweetened condensed milk was located. I was told, "It's probably on aisle three." Since aisle three was directly in front of where the three of you were standing, I assumed that when it became obvious I still couldn't find it, someone might actually do that old-fashioned customer service thing and help. Silly me. Instead, the conversation remained the top priority while I wandered the aisle looking for an item that apparently wasn't important enough to warrant thirty seconds of anyone's attention. This was around 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 12, and the store was nearly empty, so being overwhelmed with customers wasn't exactly the issue. Rather than interrupt the conversation a second time, I simply walked past, shook my head, and left. I then drove to the Publix at Sunlake, where I found the sweetened condensed milk immediately and was reminded why I usually shop there. The employees there consistently understand that customers come before conversations. As an 82-year-old customer, I appreciate people who are willing to help instead of pointing vaguely toward an aisle and returning to their chat. Same Publix name. Completely different attitude. I only stopped at the Preserve Marketplace location because I happened to be in the area and thought it would save me time. Instead, I got a lesson in how easy it is to lose a customer. Congratulations, you succeeded. I'll gladly drive the extra miles to the Sunlake store from now on.

Went to Publix at Palmaire at 9:30pm

Went to Publix at Palmaire at 9:30pm To order a sub after a long day. The Asian gentleman who took my order instead of grabbing the last visible sub bread on the shelf took his time go inside and grab the oldest loaf of bread he could find to make my sub. I almost questioned but who in the world could imagine that he would take the time to go inside the deli area to grab old still bread instead of using the one on the shelf!!! Thanks for ruining my dinner after a long day! Sub was nasty.

Disgusting Arrogant Workers

Mr. George Jenkins built Publix on customer service. Somewhere along the way, that promise was abandoned. I'm done. This isn't about one employee. This isn't about one bad visit. This isn't even about one store. This is about years of walking into Publix delis and repeatedly being made to feel like I'm ruining someone's day simply because I dared to order food during posted business hours. I'm exhausted by it. I actually dread walking up to the deli counter because I've come to expect the sighs, the dirty looks, and the feeling that my business is somehow an inconvenience instead of the very reason those counters exist. Tonight, the Publix at Davis Boulevard Kings Lake was simply the last straw. At approximately 9:15 p.m.—a full 45 minutes before the deli closed at 10:00 p.m.—there were three deli associates and another employee cleaning the floor. They were all standing around talking while I waited to be acknowledged. After standing there for about a minute, someone finally looked at me and said, "What do you need?" Not, "How can I help you?" Not, "What can I get started for you?" Not even, "Welcome." Just, "What do you need?" I politely replied, "I'd like to order a wrap, please." The look I received in return made me feel like I had just committed some terrible offense. I honestly thought I had done something wrong, so I asked, "I'm sorry, did I upset you? Is there a problem with the order?" I wasn't met with reassurance. I wasn't met with professionalism. I was met with another look that made it abundantly clear that my presence was unwelcome. At that point, I decided I wasn't going to beg someone to make my food. As I walked away, one of the employees halfheartedly called out, "Sir..." By then, I had already made up my mind. As I passed customer service, I asked, "You close at 10:00, correct?" Both associates answered yes. I replied, "You may want to let the deli know." I started to walk away, then stopped and turned around because I couldn't keep it to myself any longer. I said, "They were so disgusted by the fact that I wanted a wrap." I also told them that I was tired of being treated so rudely. What makes this especially heartbreaking is that I'm not just another customer complaining about retail. I used to work for Publix. While I was going back to school, I worked in the Publix deli. I sliced meats and cheeses. I made sandwiches. I made wraps. I stood behind that same counter serving customers every day. My wife also worked for Publix. We remember what Publix used to stand for because we were taught those values by the company itself. Even today, years after we've both left the company, if we see shopping carts scattered around the parking lot, we gather them and return them. Not because anyone asks us to. Not because anyone is watching. But because we still have pride in what Publix once meant to us. That's why this hurts so much. When I worked for Publix, customers weren't interruptions. They weren't inconveniences. They weren't treated like they had the audacity to ask someone to do their job. They were the reason we had jobs. I took pride in greeting every customer, helping every customer, and making every customer feel welcome because I understood a simple truth: without customers, there is no deli. Somewhere along the way, that lesson has been forgotten. If the deli stops making wraps at a certain time, it should be posted. If employees are expected to stop taking sandwich orders before closing, communicate that to customers. But don't advertise that you're open until 10:00 p.m. and then make someone feel ashamed for ordering at 9:15. This review isn't about wanting free food, compensation, or an apology. It's about respect. Customers should never feel like they have to apologize for walking into a business during posted business hours. They should never have to ask an employee if they've done something wrong simply because of the look they're being given. Publix became one of the most respected grocery chains in America because Mr. George Jenkins believed that taking care of customers wasn't just good business—it was the foundation of the company. That philosophy built Publix. Sadly, that's not the Publix I experienced tonight. I sincerely hope someone in management reads this—not because I expect anything for myself, but because the culture I experienced at this deli is damaging a reputation that took decades to build. Mr. George would have been disappointed. And as a former Publix deli associate who was once proud to wear that green apron, I can honestly say that I am too.
