Kroger‘s were really double charge you…

Kroger‘s were really double charge you weigh your food that’s on sale pay attention to your receipts. This is the third time I have called them basically stealing money from me but saying it’s valid because they weigh items after they gave them to you on sale so pay attention to your receipts and make sure y’all call cause they stealing from us. It’s already hard out here.

Fraudulent charges on online order

Warning, if you change anything to an online order and it increases the amount due, you pay that difference at the time of the change. But wait, because Kroger is still going to charge you those increases in the total for the bill as well! That’s called fraud and after sitting on hold to try and give Kroger an opportunity to correct them overcharging me, I’m no longer holding for Kroger and I’m calling and reporting it to my bank. I paid about 20 dollars more on an order than I should have. I can no longer trust shopping at Kroger and will have to kind a new grocery store to do pick up. This is beyond disappointing as a life long customer.

Online ordering is HORRID don't do it, customer service is terrible.

I've been trying to place an online order for an hour now, and I keep getting error codes that say my order was not placed (yet they still charge my credit card). The people I talk to say they have a fix for the problem, then tell me to wait 15 minutes and try to place my order again. It does not work and I call back - they tell me the same thing after making me hold for another period of time, but say it did not work the first time because I did not clear my browser (they said this incredulously, like I should have known this). When I asked why the first person did not tell me this, if it was so important, they said they were quite busy. Then I am transferred to an agent who is supposed to be able to give me a credit to my account because the act of placing a simple order took so long- he tells me the credit is there, so I log in and see that it is not there. He puts me on hold for another 20 minutes to figure out the credit, and then tells me he can't give me a credit because I'm a new customer (after previously telling me the credit was in my account). And to top it all off, they have charged my credit card for the orders I did not get to place. I'd give zero stars if I could.

Do not get a Prize Pay card. They do not replace cards that they put on fraud hold.

I went to store on Lawrenceville Hwy in Lawrenceville, Ga. The store has slot machines from Georgia lottery. I won and I was paid on a Prize Pay card. After using the card a couple times. I got a message from the company that issues surprise pay card. It stated that my card was suspected a fraud to call them. I called and was told that the car would be replaced. That was June 17. I have called numerous times and I’ve spoken with a couple people but all of a sudden my name is not the name that’s on the inner system as reporting the card or calling in about the card now I’m told I have to do a appeal. I have called Price play. I have called Kroger and I’ve also called the state of Georgia lottery. No one seems to be able to tell me who to contact about the prize pay card. I’m sure this car is under contract by somebody but no one prize play Kroger or the lottery of Georgia will take responsibility for ensuring that their customers receive their payment after putting money in their machine. not know which way to go. I’ve completed a Better Business Bureau complaint. I have yet to hear anything from anybody, but I am very frustrated because my card has about $250 of my winnings which I am entitled to.

Kroger customer service...Isnt.

If I could give a below one star rating for Kroger customer service I most definitely would do so. Yesterday I made an online grocery order and mistakenly had my order come out of my debit card rather than my EBT card. This causes a huge problem for me as I had just enough money in my account to pay for my delivery and my monthly obligations. The only thing left to be debited from my account will be my lot rent. If my lot rent is rejected I will either received an eviction notice or a $50 fee. I am 70 years old and homelessness would not be good for me at this stage of my life.I contacted customer service for Kroger as soon as I discovered the issue and requested of the agent to reverse the transaction on my debit card and debit by EBT card. That agent's response was "I can't." If they can refund an item why can't they refund a complete order? I was in customer service for 17 years and the words "I can't" were not permitted for us to say. In fact our response would be "I can help you with that." I feel very disappointed Kroger's customer service agent did not even attempt to go above and beyond or find a resolution for my issue. If you are customer service oriented don't look to Kroger customer service to get any.

Brought coupons for each item

Brought coupons for each item. Left looked at coupon no coupons were taken off. At least 10.00. I called i tried to tell the man which register and the name but he told me to come in and he would adjust it. I came in the lady said coupons were picked up just a few mins earlier. So the man that I tried to tell which register and the name of the cashier dropped the ball. He should have immediatly went to that register and gathered the coupons. So thats money thriwn away. I only bought these due to the coupons

Great store employees but long long wait and short staffing at checkout

Trips to our local Kroger store have been frustrating lately due to the extreme lack of cashiers manning registers at regular lanes. Today there was only ONE cashier available in the whole store! With several carts ahead of me and even more customers in line behind me, I reached out to an employee who was passing by to ask if they could please open another lane. He accommodated the request but came back to tell us that there was nobody available! The self-service check-out area was really backed-up, too. Our local store has TWO self-service areas; one area also includes a self-service LANE that has a long belt similar to the regular register lanes -- large enough to handle big orders of thirty items or more. What is most annoying about the limited staffing and the push to have customers using the self-service area is that the side where there is the long self-service lane is often closed, just like it was today! I've wondered why store staff made the decision to close the area that has an actual lane -- is it because it is further away from the customer service desk? Does it lack security features to minimize the risk of thefts? Is it broken? Who knows? The only reason for the three-star rating is the calibre of the staff in our local store. Most are exceptionally kind and willing to help, such as the young man who immediately accommodated the request for help -- even though he himself was powerless to do anything about it.

The worst self checkout experience ever…

The worst self checkout experience ever 9/10 times I go there. Everything else is fine. I’ll even commend Kroger for having consistent good prices on certain items like bacon, produce, steak, etc. but no matter what I do, I have to wait for an attendant at least 2-3 times every time I use the self checkout. Might as well get rid of them and just go back to normal manned checkout procedures.

i go to this kroger on lower roswell…

i go to this kroger on lower roswell road in Marrietta Ga at least 3 times a week and purchase from the meat dept often, at 3:30 on wednesday afternoonof this week 7/8/26, i"m standing at the counter waiting to be helped and Mary who was shuffing around sale papers and walking over to a grey box to get some stick on tape for her sale papers. Remind you i"m still standing there waiting for service thinking Mary will see me and help me with my order she did not, another customer comes walking up, now both of us are there waiting on customer service so the other customer says excuse me, the customer points to me saying he"s first, Mary says to me if you need service how come did:nt say anything, not my job to your job, Mary did not look happy and she was rude, instead of saying so sorry what can i help you, maybe Mary having a bad day we all do but, your in the customer service field.

Today I had an item that rang up $3.00…

Today I had an item that rang up $3.00 more than it should have. Called to ask how to get it refunded and after 7 calls still was unable to reach a person.I've started checking my receipts now and about 30% of the time there is some thing wrong leading to being over charged. If I catch it while I'm there, then I get to stand in another line and wait for someone costumer service.. So after not being able to reach a person I wrote a 1star review on Yelp. Then I contacted online to rate my Kroger. After going it detail and supplying all information taking about 8mins. It said it was unable to connect to the Kroger server. Talk about bad service!!!

Overcharging on prescriptions and more

If u dont repeatedly tell them u use GOOD RX when u fill every script u will be overcharged. I dont get it they keep all ur insurance info on file but they wont note u use good rx. I have been overcharged many times when someone picks up for me and doesnt keep reminding them JUST WENT IN THERE AGAIN TODAY THEY OVERCHARGED FOR GROUND BEEF I CLEARLY SHOWED THE PHONE PIC TO THE NEURODIVERGENT CUSTOMER SERVICE GUY AND HE ARGUED WITH ME FOR 20 MINUTES. IDK WHY EMPLOYEES WILL ARGUE A CLEAR OVERCHARGE WHEN UR POLITE AND REQUEST NICELY ITS NOT LIKE THE REFUND IS COMING OUT OF THEIR POCKET. Skip the BS. Go to Walmart

Burnt Ribs

Purchased ribs but the grill master didn’t tell me that the grill caught fire and burned the bottom out of the ribs. Instead she package them up for sell. I brought two racks home and when I called the store I got the biggest runaround so I call Kroger customer service and got even a bigger runaround for something they already knew about before I made my purchase. I have been a loyal Kroger Plus shopper but this is a whole other level of disappointment and disrespect. They say a picture is worth a thousand words well this picture is worth a million.
