Beware: This company doesn't care what happens to your belongings
I have waited for several months to try and work through the problems with this company's international partner to resolve this issue but haven't got anywhere. So I have no recourse accept to write this review. To note, I highlighted the problems to the SFL service team on the day of the move with the evidence. They immediately refused to do anything about it asked me to contact their international partner. Their international partner has ghosted me so I am suffering the loss and heartache. This company damaged our heritage furniture that is of great sentimental value and priceless to us. The damages are as a result of sheer negligence, incompetence and carelessness while unloading the furniture and moving it into our house. I can say it with confidence that these damages were part of the unloading process because I was present at the time these furniture items were dropped onto the road from the container in the most incompetent manner while unloading and the furniture broke while I was watching in horror. Our experiences with the unloading and moving of the shipment has been very poor. It was a stressful, upsetting and disappointing experience and not the satisfactory end we had expected to our international move. Chris and his partner were absolutely terrible. The banged our furniture with hammers, kicked them to try and fit them and jumped on them. I can't add photos with this review otherwise I would have shown the damage they have done. Eric obviously has no experience in this kind of job and was completely lost with even moving the packing materials for disposal. I would caution on using this company because their work ethics are very poor and as long as they got their money, they didn't care about what happened to our belongings.
