Update: after trading some emails between me and their customer service. They decided to fully refund my purchase. I do appreciate that they did that but I am still not satisfied that I had to go through all that motion for something that could have been resolved early on. Also, if once I used the license then I can't really get a refund unless the feature is not working then you can't say 30 days money back. I am changing my review to 3 instead of 1 star. The Company is basically running a scam. I bought their data recovery software because I needed to bootable software that can recover my harddisk data. This feature is only available after you buy a license so I couldn't really test it before buying a license. I tried and it wasn't able to recover my data so I asked them for a refund and I even bought the lifetime version. They basically told me we don't refund based on this situation because the license was used which is how else would I try the only locked feature without using the license? I even asked them to downgrade my license to a monthly one and return the difference but they didn't even reply back to me. To add insult to injury I found out that partition master can do the same thing as recovery with more features and it's license is less than data recovery software. I will make sure to let everyone knows that their 30 return policy is a scam because once you use the license then you can get any money back.
