mail.com

Hope you don't need working support!

Mail.com is fine SO LONG AS you never need support. And don't mind that they're really not very secure. I was one of the recent accounts that got hacked. No explanation or apology was forthcoming. I sorted the password, authentication et al, got back into my account - only for it to be unuseable in an hour. So I tried the AI Assistant, which can do nothing but send you to password reset (doesn't work), the Postmaster check service (server has no id so doesn't exist), or a contact form. Tried the contact form and the email - got mailer daemon failures. Their servers are a mess and not secure. Want to talk to a person? Good luck with that. You have to call America for paid support, but if you're from out of the country you just get cut-off. The AI Assistant even suggested speaking to them on Facebook - they bin off comments, and only send a copy paste response in replies. It's so bad, I've had to contact 1 & 1 Mail and Media, who own them, via their press email. Which also doesn't work. Honestly, it feels like a data scraping scam as Google flagged them for the data breach, and it was only their service that was the problem.
