Unresolved Above-Ground Pool Service Complaint
On May 27, 2026, I contacted Ambassador Pools Inc. to ask about above-ground pool service and was referred to Dynamic Pools. I contacted Ryan, made it clear this was an above-ground pool, and provided my address and photos. After that, communication was inconsistent, and I had to keep following up for service. They finally came out on June 2 at approximately 9:19 PM. At that time, I was told they found a dead animal in the pool and that the price would increase from $400 to $1,000. Although this was unexpected, I agreed and told them to proceed. During the service, they connected the smaller sand filter to the pool. That filter had been purchased on June 23, 2025, and I provided proof of purchase. After they connected it, the filter began leaking and sand started going into the pool. I sent photos and videos showing the leak and sand accumulation. I repeatedly asked whether the filter, pump, return line, and hose connections were installed correctly. I did not receive a clear explanation or solution. Because the smaller filter was leaking and blowing sand, I asked about installing the larger sand filter, which is what I originally wanted. Instead, Zach later focused on the larger filter and stated that its manifold was cracked and that it was “junk.” However, that was not the filter connected to the pool and leaking at the time. If the larger filter needed a part or repair, a qualified pool professional should have been able to explain that clearly and make a proper recommendation. On June 16, Zach had to ask what needed to be done, even though this was already an ongoing paid service. On June 17, Zach sent two workers who appeared unprepared and unsure of what they were doing. They arrived with no proper tools and spent time looking for a screwdriver. Zach later texted that his workers were “confused as to what’s going on” and admitted he sent “2 guys in training.” Zach then arrived at approximately 10:59 PM. Zach also suggested that a positive outcome may require “a little more work and money.”
