My Obsbot Tail Air is nothing but an expensive paperweight.
I have an Obsbot Tail Air 2 and an Obsbot Tiny 2. The Tiny 2 works great and I don't have an issue with it. But the Obsbot Tail Air 2 has become a glorified paperweight. When I was using it to teach my online class, I always had the stress of never knowing when it was going to work or not. It would sometimes refuse to charge, and then would suddenly charge out of nowhere. I bought the replacement charger twice because the forum suggested the might be the problem. It did not fix the problem. Finally, it just completely stopped charging and I use it now as a very expensive paperweight. By default you charge it using a USB port and the Obsbot USB-C charger. And that it a large part of the problem. There is a dedicated docking and charging port on the bottom, but the dock for it is more expensive than the Obsbot! I bet if there were a charger that you could connect to the charging port at the bottom, that was affordable, some of these problems might disappear. I'm not the only one who's had this issue, if you look online, many people have had this issue. It's a shame because when it worked, it was awesome.
