I will never trust Trustpilot again—Trademark Engine is the definition of slimy
I will never trust Trustpilot again. After Trademark Engine began to charge me hidden fees, I checked the Better Business Bureau, and saw they had a rating of C- and a litany of valid, terrible complaints. Another red flag: The business is called Trademark Engine, but it's really two businesses, with the second one called Swyft Legal (which I presume is some kind of shield against the accumulation of bad reviews). The only way to stop them from charging me additional monthly fees that I couldn't unsubscribe from was to cancel my own credit card. You pay thinking you've bought a service, only to be told later that you have to pay more to receive the service. For example, they markup the USPTO fees so you're paying them in hidden ways throughout the process, along with the aforementioned monthly fee that I never agreed to and couldn't stop. To be clear, I did not post this review in an attempt to get some resolution from them, because you can never get resolution from this kind of company. The only reason I'm posting this review is to warn others away. And now, unbelievably, Trustpilot expects me to send more of my personal details to a disreputable company that will only do further harm to me with those details.
